About a month ago, a friend of the family got me involved with a charity shop. Well, this month, the manager has changed and the past manager, I guess she was suppose to do this, hadn't given me the application form and the course I need before I could even start in the shop, which the new manager wants me to do.

I am now questioning if I should return back to volunteering there or try to find a charity that involves working hands on like an environmental charity. I would want to know I earned the volunteer work on my accord and not through someone else and I rather not be stuck inside a shop all day, I rather be out and meeting people while doing something that involves work and fun.

I guess I am asking for opinions of what you all would do if you were faced with this decision. I'm not an official volunteer and there's two other people who know how to do the books, so I am not walking away leaving them without someone capable of filling my shoes and would be more happy working in the store.
