Uhm...a bit hard to explain. You know how you can have an avi ready to save in the editor?
When you do, open up another tab and go to the editor and click Revert. Now you've the new avi in one editor and your current avi in the tab you just opened.
On the first tab, switch around an item in the layering (or put on an item if you're not on the Layers tab, then hit save. Close the first tab.
Now you've the second tab that you opened and the old avi in it. Don't worry about what avi is showing. Wear something or change the layering a bit on that avi. Don't refresh/close before you do so. If you refresh after that change is made, you'll have the old avi in the editor and the new one as your current avi.
