A friend of mine had a reduction from a G down to a C when she was only 25. She was not a skinny girl, but a C cup seemed to look more natural on her (weird, I know- surgery made her look more "natural"). She did have scars for several months afterwards, but they did eventually fade. At first, she was really self conscious because she didn't think she would attract guys any more (she was a hard-core clubber), but guys still found her very attractive. Plus, would you really want to be with someone who only likes you because of your breasts?
I'm older, and a tiny bit wiser now, and I would totally have breast reduction if I didn't have rheumatoid disorders that screw with my healing speed (it takes me about 6 times as long to heal after surgery than a "normal" person). I don't even know what my true cup size is. I squeeze into the DD bras that I can find at Walmart. I can't afford to go to a fancy place to get a real measurement and a properly fitting bra.
Tiva is SO right about wearing a good corset.
Before I gained a bunch of weight (before my last two surgeries), I used to wear really well made over-bust corsets that I found in a lingerie shop in the big city. They were about $75 back then (around 2002)- and worth every penny. They really helped my back! The only problem was the fact that I was limited with what I could wear them.
I found a specialty store that caters to large-breasted women- but it's got two drawbacks. One, it's in Phoenix (at least a 2 hour drive from where I live). Two, their corsets that can be worn with regular clothing start at about $225 :/ That's about as much as my husband-creature earns in a week. But, my back pain is getting to the point where I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and start saving up for one. I'm disabled and on Medicare- and to them, breast reduction surgery is "elective" and not covered. Between that and my slow healing rate (I've had two surgeries since becoming disabled), it just isn't an option for me.
If you have the money or the insurance to cover it, I think you should start talking to doctors. Just keep in mind what has already been said - your breasts WILL grow when (if) youdecide o have children. Also, your breasts ares probably still growing now. I was totally flat chested until I hit 23, then *BAM* I was a D-cup overnight.
