Simple was good, he thought. Though simple here and simple back home might be completely different things. He accepted the fish from the other before thinking on it a moment. He could ask like what, but it didn't matter anything would be better then not knowing at all.

At the least he did seem to be willing to eat a little more then earlier. Though he was probably still adjusting to the food and everything here. Plus he seemed troubled by his thoughts. It bothered him that some higher being so it seemed was looking out for him here. To what end?
