Aw I'm sorry to hear that.
Are you feeling better now?

And sorry for disappearing.
I did after everyone else did.
But I'm also battling finding a job teaching overseas and a long standing battle of depression at the same time.

As for On/Kun... it deals with vocabulary mostly.
Memorize it.
But after you speak it and listen to it for some time, you will recognize it if you say it outloud.
It will sound funny to you.
That's how I normally find out.
But I also make mistakes.
I make sure to pronounce it with someone I know or I use the kanji to romaji converter I have bookmarked.
And you learn that sometimes it isn't either the on/kun reading.
sometimes its a specific kanji combo that is special to only that combo.
and don't worry about coming across something that you may not be able to read - it happens to me ALL the time.
it's part of learning the culture and language.
All I can tell you is to ask questions.
That's the best way to go about it.

And congrats!!
That's good so far! =D

so you mean "お金がないっ"?
If so it means "No money!"
It shows an abrupt stop to be more precise but a lot of times people substitute in an exclamation mark for it.

@kyza/tetra:
welcome!
if you have a question, please feel free to message me or skype me.
my name on skype is shinkamalei as well.
It may take a little time since I am busy but I will do my best to answer it the best I can.
And if I can't answer it, I will ask my friends from Japan.
