He was about to move when she grabbed him and pulled him onto the bed. She had a point, he was just trying to be ... what the hell did it matter she was right this could be their last night. Even she knew that much.

He smirked a little deciding it was better to not leave that thought linger in her mind too long. "You wish it was. We'll get the relic and do whatever you need to do with them and the world will be better off." He shrugged a little before moving to lean toward her kissing her lips. "Besides if something happened to me you'd be bored, admit it."

He was probably pushing his luck there, but maybe he wasn't. At least maybe shed sop acting like it was the end of the world when they were doing this to prevent that.
