He was smirking a little that she was bothering to play this little game with him about what he had said. But that quickly died at the mentioning of land. Thats the last thing he wanted to hear. It meant two things, one they were soon to go into the other realm and two her father was probably going to personally kill him as soon as one of the crew blabbed his mouth.

He didn't bother to follow her this time. He was caught in his own thoughts for the time being. He really disliked going into the other realm and she'd find out soon enough why. Sure demons whatever, he had more personal reasons to not wish to return there after the first time years ago.
