John had almost made it back to his nights lodging when he heard it. There was a clamor sounding suspiciously like a fight. Four men, if his ears led him right, three of which were heavy on their feet and armed. The odd one out was only identifiable by his coughing and heavy breathing. John gave a sigh, why did some humans have to be so difficult. “Hear me, beasts of the sea,” for the heavy footed men where sea men, “Release the land tender, he has not the treasures you seek, only fruits of the mind and hands of the land.” There was silence and John was quite lost on what was happening before he heard the steady thudding of feet against cobblestone heading towards him.

Annabel was a little shocked to see a lion, a lion of all things, steal the money purse she had just lifted. That did not stop her from attempting to chase it though, just because it was an animal did not mean it was getting away with theft. She ignored the voice in her head commenting about how it was not theft from her but the man who the money purse originally belonged to.
