	It's been a while since I've done poetry. These are old. We'll see how this goes. Hell Bent Hell bent On the thresh of flesh Between the soul and skin Line’s drawn in spirit My words dance like mosh pit My mind coerced to spin Spectacular spectacles Delivering into retrospect Of redemption My perceptions and contemplations A sundering lies of self indulgence Into eyes of under-investments Time turned priceless by extinction Skies lit up with our testaments My life becoming meaningless from its endangerment My soul given value by life’s meaninglessness My words betray me They know not my pain or disdain Or my fear of the fane and the vain My hell is my loneliness My heaven is my pleasure of hell What Sounds Sweet Her name was hating on me Couldn't get it out of my head Replaced it with these words instead Brought peace to my knee's Trade to make it all complete Couldn't convince sound to be sweet It becomes talking to a fire Doesn't stop burning, makes you look like a liar Trying to put out water with words Fighting motion with terms Battling the things I want Wrestling them to the place I'm not There's no victory in changing sides Peeling truth from the things inside Running out of what was thought to be time Being overtaken by distance Time is just salt to the wound These words cauterize and consume Once connection made bloom Soul's river made flume Junction of the hearts Iron mold for love Affiliation lost in truth We become our own detriment Operation desperation separation by affiliation I am my own waste of time And you were mine Blood Red Sky I will miss the sun. A blood red sky A tongue of ash A boiling ocean of memories A broken steel hand A buried soul A crossing path Of life Of luster And of malice Scars of iron and fire Skulls of hollow laughter And of shattered screams A mended heart of flesh A torn soul of dirt The taste of sand The sounds of stone The sight of flame The dry The weary The broken The disheveled And the isolated It will be seen but dark Felt but numbed Heard but silenced A stronger loneliness Brought by sin Banished by hurt Adorned by thorns Feeling of weak Of whim Of worn Punished by some Born unto all Forgiven A word we refuse For whom the son sold And yet is sought after We will miss the son. Maybe it's a condition, ever think of that? No, no you didn't. You never thought, "oh maybe he's sensitive about his invisible eyes." Maybe it's a skin condition. "Maybe she was born with it..."
