He shuddered a little remembering a few of the 'tests' as Vaden liked to call them. Sure he knew they were for a good purpose but still couldn't the old man go catch a demon and test it on them first instead of his own grandson.

Though her words on saying she had been working on them from time to time during the travels didn't seem to phase him. The comment that they were handcuffs at first did though. He laughed weakly at the thought of that, though at the same time he had another thought he never voiced on it.

He sighed a little he knew she didn't want him to go but, how the hell would it look to let her go alone. Probably one of the worse places to be in this world and she wanted to go alone. "I know you don't you don't even have to say that company would be nice. You could probably talk Vaden into helping if it came down to it." He paused for a moment before speaking again trying to get what he wanted out. "I'd rather something happened to me while we were down there then you getting into trouble and no one being able to aid you." Sure it was a little bit of a morbid thought but even with the bracelets something could go wrong.
