The Difference Between
The walls are tinged with the color smoke
But there was no fire here
It all brings back a lesson learned
Things are not as they appear.
Geysers in the ceilings
Trace patterns on the beds
One can here them whisper
But never hear what's said.
Tearful eyes erase the stains
That have always lined the walls
After come the haunting screams
That leak into the halls
Bloodied lips tell tales
Of stories once told here
The cobwebs show life
But there is nothing but their fear
Comfort always made the rescue, we always hoped "for the best". I'll burn this with torches, and drown in my consideration "You are far too squishy to ever be feared." White.
