The One That Talked.

There is a path for him to take,
The leaves will crumble as they break,
He walks by himself,
but not alone
Their saccharine voices are calling him home.

He looks upon the rugged rock,
Barely breathing, too scared to talk
The waves crash upon the wasting cliffs
No one could, could ever stop this.

He runs his fingers through his hair,
Pondering his last affair
One with the rocks and with the sea
One to take him away from thee

A single step,
Rocky debris,
His own words torment you
You only did what you could do

His breath shortens in his chest
He'll find a way to final rest
The voices call him quietly
Offering him his sanity

He takes another ragged breath
To plunge into the icy depths
He never wanted to go like this
But peace is an offer he cannot resist

He reached out to you
Flailing for your hand
But you dismissed him
He couldn't meet your demands.

He told you of their pretty words
And how it was all he ever heard
You said he was fine, it was all his head.
Remember these rocks...
That are covered in red.

Remember when you said...
There's nothing wrong with him?
And how he should be a man,
to earn your love again.

Remember those pretty blades?
That you forced into his chest
Don't worry dear
Mother does know best.

So he did what he thought he had to
Let gravity take control
You should have seen how lovely he was
Playing his final role

The medics will be there
a moment too late
With purple lips he sealed his fate
His mind no longer feels the pain,
This was all that he could gain.

They'll pull his remains
From the relentless stone
His secret pain
Can now be known

His body is no longer one piece
But thanks to you he found his peace
Lying shattered upon the rocks.
This is the end of the one that talked.
Comfort always made the rescue, we always hoped "for the best". I'll burn this with torches, and drown in my consideration
"You are far too squishy to ever be feared." White.
