I usually proof read but since it is my own writings I'm familiar with the content causing me to do something similar to speed reading and skip over smaller words. XD


I have this poem that I don't own. The girl that does gave me permission to post it. She wrote it for our creative writing class. We were supposed to write a poem and later a horror story using a /darker/ translation of our writing partner. I was hers so the poem is about me! In a very twisted way~ <3

Illusions

Lies are chains
the bind the soul to this place,
Dark crevices and shadows lurk
behind every corner and your back never turns.
Your guard is up and suspicion rests in you eyes
what is Trust?
The word,
It is foreign to you,
You can’t possibly understand it.
HATRED
PAIN
DEATH
DESTRUCTION
It is your chant
Peace is impossible to you
and our storms to you a simply a light rain
you can’t bring yourself to care
For those who abandoned you.
Left you by the side
So you take the knife that you think we don’t see,
Every single night,
and let your own blood flow
the moon and stars your only witness
To the beautiful, torn, and tattered soul of yours.
