Windows 8
Comes out 10-26-12...
Who is ready for another round of Vista like problems? |
I'd just skip Windows 8. Since I think Widows 95, they've flip-flopped one is good, the next is horrid, then good, then horrid over and over again.

•:*´¨`*:•. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— •:*´¨`*:•. ❀My husband got the beta of 8 and he likes it... Minus the fact you don't have a start menu. Other than that he loves it. Boots up way faster. It will take awhile to figure out for sure but so far what I've seen of 8 and tried the beta is that it works fine. Just our usb drives won't work with them. USB drives I mean external harddrives. ❂ •:*´¨`*:•. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— •:*´¨`*:•. |
I have Windows Vista and I'm really getting that much problem
|
Eh. I have a Mac, and now that I've got this, I only go back to Windows when I have programs that don't work on Mac.
And for that I have Bootcamp. |
I just got a Win 7 PC.. i'm stucking with it too cause i don't have the money to upgrade 3<
|
windows 7 sucks balls and hard i so don't want 8 ;^; i want xp back honestly, at least i could navigate that one
|
i had tried the windows 8 beta on my laptop, the menus and everything at the time seemed more set up for a tablet than a pc .. unless they changed it. I doubt i will be getting it for a while if at all xP I wasn't impressed by the beta granted it ran as smoothly as i could have wished.
|
Why can't they keep with something that's good? Windows 7 I like it. It took away the crappiness of Vista and added the goodness of XP
And now, it'll be back to the Vista problems D: |
...There's. No. Start menu?
|
Yeah, and that's another reason I'll never move up to it.
|
I thought the regular side to the OS was just like windows 7, start menu and all. With the option of switching to the tiles/touch interface.
I guess things have changed since i last looked into it D: |
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...eaves2-1-1.gif Kano is going to put the win 8 on a cd and test it when we get the new sata drive in, If they did in fact change the interface i'll be happy and gladly reslap it back on my laptop. It ran just fantastic when i had it but i couldn't get use to the interface Dx http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...ves2-1-1-1.gif |
that's sort of what my boyfriend said
they seem to go through computers a good version and then a bad one I was fine with vista though as long as it was on a computer that could actually run it I remember when it first came out I was in a computer class and that was the only computer no one wanted to work on so I guess I had a soft spot for it and my laptop was one, but it was a better computer than the school one and didn't have problems like the other one did from what I heard though doesn't sound like 8 will be good for some computer gamers |
Sorry... that wasn't a serious statement! I'll just stick with my good 'ol Windows XP! Though, it is time to upgrade. Edit: Just watched a release preview of 8... it looks interesting... I might just go to a electronic store once it comes and fiddle with it and see if I like it. |

you should've gotten it from Office Depot, I know we were (or maybe still are) selling the windows 7 PCs still but if you WANT to upgrade to 8 when it comes out, you can for only 15$... >3< IDK if any other place is doing that, though. |
