Ribbons?

slightly sad after spending a few hours in game forms and after posting in Life Styles and Issues I noticed that you get ribbons for posting, but I guess I wasted time in the games since it doesn't work there well at least didn't for me, noticed more gold though which was nice

So are there other places where posts don't count for ribbons?

open to chat about other things as well to earn ribbons
i have a hard time getting myself to post in threads where there are on going conversations that have been around for a while or have a lot of posts

Kotomi, I'd say just post in places you like to post. I didn't even know that there was a place were you couldn't earn ribbons!

Feel free to post in any of my threads! <3

I discovered the games forum one too...but it's understandable. Events should encourage chatting, so to earn ribbons in the games forum wouldn't really help with that at all...and it would be too easy for everyone to get the ribbons then...
but I didn't know about Lifestyles and Issues not giving you any.

Regardless...I don't know of any other places that you can't get ribbons in, but I'll chat with you to help earn some here.

I might have to take a little break - I'm using the computer that gets connected to the TV.

I knew that you earned less aurum in the games forum, so I almost always post elsewhere.

Lucid: 05-24-2012 07:23 PM

I only ever posted in the games forum to get the achievements. I consider the games forum spam and a waste of space. =/ But having it is good so people don't try to make games in the real forums.

Tiva 05-24-2012 07:25 PM

Eh, it is fun and gives us stuff to do during dead time Lucid.

Lucid: 05-24-2012 07:26 PM

I guess so...but if there's two people online playing games, there could be two people online chatting! :D
It's just my opinion anyway. It doesn't bother me that much unless people complain about decreased aurum or no event currency, which doesn't happen much anymore.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-24-2012 07:35 PM

Yes. It is good too have a forum for just messing around so that spam does not end up taking over everywhere.

Wait, you don't get ribbons for posting in the Lifestyles and Issues forum? I know about the game forum, but what? And it tells you what you earn after each post, so you should have known after the first post that you don't get ribbons. XD

Lucid: 05-24-2012 08:43 PM

You get ribbons for posting in life styles & issues. Games and Posting Lab are the only forums that have any currency restrictions.

Angel Spirit Girl 05-24-2012 09:35 PM

I thought that was the case.

Kotomi 05-25-2012 01:01 PM

smiles thanks nods
and okay ^-^

yeah I also feel the game is spam, but it's nice for those who don't know or go around type something and then end up not posting after whatever amount of time was used to think on a response ^^;;
it would just make items easier to get if the games had it too

hmm hey when I made this thread it gave me a gold, so wondering if my guess is correct, do you have to make a thread to get gold ones

if so I kind of find that difficult there are so many things that have already been posted I guess I'd feel like i was spamming making a ton of threads to get an item, only making one if I actually have a reason to... ^^;;

also, how's everyone's day?
I've been busy school days winding down almost out for the summer

Haunting 05-25-2012 01:16 PM

I never knew you earn't less elsewhere, then again, i've only been posting really in the questing and merchant square forums.
Hmm, at least you got some gold though c: And good luckw ith getting more of the ribbons c: Just find an active thread and you should be getting them in no time.

Kotomi 05-25-2012 01:31 PM

I guess I'll have to try my luck after work

Lucid: 05-25-2012 01:37 PM

You don't have to create a new thread to get a good ribbon, it was just random luck that it happened that way.
