Answered, thanks!

So, first of all, I'd like to know if it's okay to re-use question threads as long as it's not necroing..

Second, I have a question about the Writer's Diary section. Let's say I have a thread that I made to write a story.
Is it okay to just keep posting new additions/chapters? Or would that be wrong?
:/
Or maybe post a segment then have people comment, then have another post for another segment after that?
I hope this makes sense. o u o

I guess you could re-use question threads if you want. sometimes it's harder to notice when an old thread has been updated, but as long as you post in to alert that there's a new question, I'm sure it'd work just as well.

You can add new additions to your story in the writer's diary without people needing to comment on it.

Maybe for your story what you could do is contact one of the Writer mods about it and what you could do is for every chapter you completed temporarily close it so that way no one else can comment on it.

Does that make sense?

Thanks for the help both of you, I'll take your suggestions into my mind. ^^
I think I may just put each chapter in a different spoiler?

Reusing a question thread is essentially an off-topic post. It's easier for people to search for questions and answers if it's kept separate. Why would you want to reuse one anyway?

Reusing a thread keeps the forum a little bit cleaner.
But yes I agree if a thread was reused then people might have missed answers to a previously answered question.
