Koprina's Lair
 

In a clearing decorated with shimmering strands of... something, you come upon a cozy-looking sitting area. The furniture appears to be a combination of found pieces, and cushions made from the same shimmering strands as whatever is decorating the trees. Off to one side is what is very clearly a loom, with a length of fabric in progress.

Next to one of the cushions on the ground is a basket of yarn, and a drop spindle with yarn in the process of being made wrapped around it. There are lanterns and fairy lights strung up as well, and the entire area feels welcoming and comfortable. You hear a faint skittering sound coming from the forest near the clearing, and a few moments later, a quiet voice speaks up, sounding startled.

"O-Oh, goodness! I w-wasn't expecting company so soon!" Out of the forest skitters Koprina, the shy drider who arrived to the area earlier in the year. "I-I'm so sorry to keep you waiting. I-I've been trying to find new ways to dye the silk fabric I make clothes from. I-I was gathering berries to make more dyes..." She stammers, looking a bit uncomfortable. "I-I made some t-test pieces with the dyes I made... I heard p-people here like pets, and I found out there's a shop that will t-trade berries for the p-pets I made, and a few other pets that showed up, if you're interested!"

Hi, Koprina. Have you ever tried stinging nettle dye?

"O-Oh, I hadn't thought of that... W-What colors does it make?" Koprina asks, getting a notepad out of the basket of yarn.

It makes a beautiful green. Soft and warm.

Kinda like your undershirt, Tam?

"Oh, that is lovely."

It's almost like your snake doll.

*looks in her yarn stash* I have a darker green than that... But it's in the same family! :D

What kind is it?

Wool. Plymouth Galloway brand. It's left over from the Doctor Who scarf I knitted a few years back.

Awwww. Sounds really pretty.

"I-I've never worked with wool before... I'll have to find some..."

Oh! Here! I combed Sardis. She's really soft.

"O-Oh, goodness! Thank you!"
