She was almost eighteen, she had a good, long life, and died at home surrounded by her family, because we weren't going to put her through the terror of going to the vet and have that be her last memory.

Loving all the pets! And yes a pet should not be a present on Christmas, but they are a gift in themselves when we get to spend this time with them.
