IIRC, the initial goal was 1mil, and we’ve shot right past that.

That's wonderful. I feel like I get activism burnout easier than others. For example I see something about the protests on social media and then I see a bunch of racists parked in the comments. And then for literally DAYS, I'm in the pits. But stuff like this- all the money raised- cheers me up again. Then I'm hopeful again instead of wishing for humanity's collective demise. I feel like a pendulum.
