SparX 02-26-2016 02:05 PM

I call the cupboards! do you get the day off today at least?

Glitch 02-26-2016 02:21 PM

yup i do ouo

But my friend is coming over from idaho and he is bringing two friends and they are all crashing here.

Meanwhile I have my boy cat that pees on everythinggggg

so I am going to spend today trying to get the cat pee smell out of the carpets ouo

Tas 02-26-2016 02:27 PM

ew, cat pee.

SparX 02-26-2016 02:27 PM

I've found bleach makes the smell worse.
With my clothing I use a mix of borax coca cola and vinegar.
do you have access to a steam cleaner?

I would not recommend mixing chlorine bleach with urine, the reaction produces a toxic byproduct.

i am waiting for brady to come home (he has the car) he will be a couple more hours. We're gonna go get a scrubby brush and some vinegar and i'm gonna do that and then baking soda for a bit and then try vaccumming. No steam cleaner we are poor :(

For now until he gets home i made a water baking soda solution and I sprayed that around the house to try and at least get a start on it XP

I really don't want these guys to sleep on the floor and be smelling cat pee all night D:

SparX 02-26-2016 07:26 PM

I hope it works for you =O One of the things I use is an oxy out spray. if I find it again I'll send you a picture of it, its supposed to help prevent pets from repraying also.

Glitch 02-26-2016 07:32 PM

well he's not gonna stop until I take him to the vet XD i just can't get one to call me back to make an appointment

also!

only the living room left to clean, which is the hardest part. xD I saved it for last.

it includes the carpet! brady still isn't home yet though so i might have to walk to the store. Which would be ok but it's raining xD

SparX 02-27-2016 06:28 PM

Lol your avatar glitch.
what inspired you lol

Potironette 02-27-2016 10:16 PM

Out of curiosity, how do cats get potty-trained anyway 0_0? Actually, why do cats care about litter boxes at all?

Glitch 02-27-2016 10:47 PM

oh everybody was having a chat yesterday about getting jello to look like he's eating XD

Cats seem to instinctually want to potty in sand/gravel. At least I used to have a kitten that I took outside as a kitten and she would go dig a little hole in the gravel and pee and then cover it up.

Potironette 02-27-2016 10:56 PM

Hrm, then why is it that your boy cat doesn't have that instinct?

Glitch 02-27-2016 11:05 PM

oh he still goes potty in the litterbox but he isn't neutered so he likes to go around and mark things - signaling any ladies that he is here if they are looking for a good time
