Here we have a thread for all those who can't find a place to settle down and chat in the wee hours of the shadow. The owners name is Batty, and you better treat her well! Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be insane [but why wouldn't you WANT to be?].
Straight jackets will be provided by request, but in the mean time, why don't you just sit back and relax amongst your stay? I won't bite! But Batty might. -giggles-

Ugh I am working on my home work that is due in... 8 hours, I am working on a colored sketch which I will redo in watercolor later. I have such issues with value ranges and color so I am spending all my time making this sketch so I can copy it later neatly.

Yesh I do I can send you my rarely updated blog some time xD. What kinds of things do you like to write? I am an avid reader if you have something online I wouldn't mind reading it.

And wewt! I would LOVE that! I really do enjoy seeing what people create. :3 It makes me feel less awful about not being able to do so myself.

As far as writing goes? I mostly write paranormal/urban fantasy/sci fi stuff. Its the same genre I read, as well. So if you're into that, I have TONS of book series you may like. <3 I'm a complete book worm.

I used to work at Borders, and... it really made no sense. My paycheck just went back to them in the end. Haha.

Yush. I love Tris' layering system. Its ... so darn epic. =O

... Jim Butcher? PLease tell me you read that series. I've been meaning to find a person to discuss his last novel in the Harry Dresden series but none of my friends read it. Its driving me a little nuts. XD well I should have said this first but I love Paranormal, urban, sci fi stuff. xD

TT^TT yes! It is wonderful. I like the way he handles vampires he makes them bearable to the point of cool/ likable unlike other series I've read like Anita Blake and Twilight. They are just nympho glorious sex gods. They are actually cool. His female characters are badass also, even the ones you think are a bit annoying have moments which make them worth while.

I never, EVER liked Twilight. I didn't like the Anita Blake books, either. The idea? Yes. A woman who can raise the dead, and slays vampires? Cool. But the way she .. I don't know.. portrayed it? Not so cool.

I'm really into Kim Harrison. The Hollows Series is AMAZING.

XD oddly thats the one I haven't picked up after Blake I became weary of disembodied female on the covers of novels and decided to stay away.

Its not as bad as Laurell's books. xD; I promise. And actually.. not all of her books are that atrocious. She has a fae series that isn't half bad.

I think the only thing that would bug you about Kim's books, is the main vampire character, Ivy. She's your typical brooding not so dead-undead type.
