Of course! :D
How are you today? Also, thank you for the trade earlier! I just got on and seen it and accepted it. That was very kind of you and I really appreciate it!

That's awesome! A full-cyborg or partial-cyborg, like with robotic limbs, or full on robotic body? : o

Glitch 06-15-2016 03:23 PM

nah just robotic insides XD Which is arguably cooler >3>

That's neat! I'm sure robotics will advance to that point soon enough, which I think is exciting and absolutely amazing.

Sort of off-topic:

I want to learn how to code and things, too, tbh. I used to try and code PC games when I was younger by using other games' source codes like Resident Evil, etc.

Glitch 06-15-2016 04:37 PM

That would be pretty cool, i have a friend who codes for a living and he makes like $45 an hour o-o

Tohopekaliga 06-15-2016 04:44 PM

$45 an hour is not at all unbelievable...Although likely not right when starting out.

I am a software engineer, so I know how much I make when I'm on an hourly contract. :)

Goodness! That's a lot : o I'm glad to hear that your friend can make a living that way, though!

How are you today?

That's very interesting! I guess depending on the customer payment varies, like freelance work?

Glitch 06-15-2016 05:33 PM

i'm alright -- about to go do some hardcore cleaning. we're opening our store friday and it has not been cleaned. it's also like. huge. so . . . not that excited XD

littl3chocobo 06-15-2016 05:36 PM

my fiance can make about 20usd an hour for his work though to be far he is still green XD

Tohopekaliga 06-15-2016 05:37 PM

I havent' done much freelance work, all told. When I did it (a couple years back), it was roughly $30 an hour...Although I wasn't actually charging by the hour. I quoted prices and that was it.

I've been paid by the hour for standard office jobs, though. Contract employee. Did that for EA for a while.

That's really neat! What was working for EA like, if it's alright of me to ask? Was it fun?

That's good! Does your friend get a lot of freelance business? I thought I might try my hand at freelance Graphic Design. [Even been working on a mock-up avatar site layout]

you dont need to quote me XD i do not get notifications

Potironette 06-15-2016 11:01 PM

-pops in-
Hi there! Uhm, out of curiosity, what does "robotics" actually mean? ><'

Tohopekaliga 06-15-2016 11:17 PM

Quote notifications is something I'd like to have eventually, but cho is right, it doesn't really do anything to quote like that, aside from provide context to your responses. :)

As for EA, it was actually rather fun. I was a SE, not one of those QA people stuffed in a room searching for bugs nonstop. I still worked a whole lot, but, well.

We had a conference room with a ball pit in the middle.

Stuff like that.

littl3chocobo 06-15-2016 11:20 PM

wait, so that video about ea being a big joke where people play all day has some merit?

noisechannelrocker 06-16-2016 01:29 AM

@littl3chocobo
I wasn't aware that quote notifications weren't a thing.Dx I just joined this site about a day ago so I'm still unfamiliar with the site's functions. Sorry about that. I'll put a @ with others' usernames so it's easier to tell who I'm responding to!

@tohopekaliga
Is there a way to alert others of your responses so they know you've responded to them in a thread? D: I had no idea the quotes weren't working

Tohopekaliga 06-16-2016 08:35 AM

That notifications thing is an add-on to the software.

The usual way people do it at the moment is just looking or using thread subscriptions to get emails or have it in the subscribed list.

Trisphee has the advantage here of not being super active, so it's fairly easy to keep up... Although I hope the activity continues to rise. :)

littl3chocobo 06-16-2016 08:49 AM

haha, it's totally alright<3 just letting you know ^^

noisechannelrocker 06-16-2016 05:43 PM

Sorry about the late response, everyone!
How are you all doing today?

Espy 06-16-2016 07:27 PM

Ooh. Robotics. I must make myself a part of this thread.

noisechannelrocker 06-16-2016 09:31 PM

@Espy

Awesome! Welcome to the thread! :D
What's up?

littl3chocobo 06-16-2016 11:12 PM

i am ok, feel a little nauseous but that is not unusual for me XD

noisechannelrocker 06-16-2016 11:15 PM

@littl3chocobo
I hope you feel better! I know I was feeling sick earlier so I had to stop working on artwork for a bit. Dx

littl3chocobo 06-16-2016 11:19 PM

are you alright?

noisechannelrocker 06-16-2016 11:21 PM

@littl3chocobo
I'm okay - when I got earlier sick it was due to acid reflux so I had to eat something to counter-act the stomach acid OTL

littl3chocobo 06-16-2016 11:23 PM

my motherinlaw has that though it makes her not want to eat at all
