i now have a grown man stalking me, smokey still hasn't come back, and i'm grieving the possibilities that i could have had if i managed to stay in school. and everything's on fire, which is the usual for this part of the year, but what's not usual is the amount of stuff being on fire.

I need to stop being afraid of confrontation.

Kinda hating how the guy in charge of handling rentals never calls them to confirm stuff until the last minute.

Ex: We have a wedding rental on Friday. They're coming in to decorate tomorrow at 9am. So yesterday I ask about the layout so I can get stuff set up and can get started on ironing the linens because that takes forever (and because it was the only day when I don't have to work my other job so I can stay and actually do stuff) and he says "oh they decided they wanted to have their hallway syuff moved down to the main floor so I actually need to find out about that before you set anything up."
Like....if he had just taken care of that earlier, I could have taken care of 90% of everything yesterday. Instead, I got the secon floor rooms set up with tables, but not chairs, and managed to iron 5 out of 15-20 linens. And will have zero time to do anything before they arrive tomorrow because I don't get in until 8:30, have actual cleaning to do, and have a meeting from 9-10am.
*facepalm*

In other news: I regret not having any friends who do makeup because a nice red and black eye look would really add a lot to my eye look but idk if I have enough time to figure it out myself before Halloween (because I'd need to buy literally everything for it which I really can't afford to do until middle of next month).
Also need to figure out how the eff I'm supposed to wear my elf/pixie ears. I tried figuring them out when they arrived (after cleaning them), but I can't seem to figure it out.

Tl;dr: I forgot how much dressing up for Halloween stresses me out because I want my costume/outfit to be perfect.

Last month was the worst I think though.

i usually just get annoyed at my period. i try not to let it bother my life. but i have a monthly headache that moves around - sometimes it's my 24-hour warning that sometime in the next 24 hours i'll get my period. sometimes - and i think it's this way now, has been for a few months - the headache is the same time as my period. they're both nuisances this month. *sigh*

Woohoo! The core items of my Halloween costume have arrived and so far they all fit and look good. I just want to make a few minor changes. Mainly swapping out the cheap, gold buttons on the dress for higher quality buttons in either a black or silver and maybe also seeing if I can find some good faux leather cording to swap out the cheaper lacings on the dress and mock-underbust corset.

I finally know what I'm wearing for Halloween, I just need to make it. XD

Still need to figure out what Derpy's gonna be for Halloween so I can make it. XD
