[M] What Grim Wears Under His Robe...
...and other questionable mysteries. Brought to you by the national society of dentists who want you to have one more

I'm imagining something incredibly comfy like those really plush pajama pants covered in little bunnies or something.
Might be. Sure got to dress comfy for a tedious day at work.
I really don't want to know...
Plus, people die all the time, you never know when you're going to be able to slip off for a little cat nap in between reaping.
Yoga pants or leggings. Because everyone loves yoga pants and leggings, right?
For all I know the grim reaper may just be some cats in a
Yeah but cats play with things after they're dead... that gives me a horrible image of the grim reaper playing with someone's corpse like a cat with a mouse...
Your mental image gives me this mental image:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9kWNtZyuws There's still life in the old lady. |
Still salty that they replaced Nicolas with some random Romani girl in that movie...
*nods* As often, the book is better. More background information and stuff. But I also enjoyed watching the movie version.
The movie is very well done.
If only the Grim Reaper had a young Brad Pitt under his robe... |
Thinking about it, wasn't the Romani girl in Queen of the Damned?
mdom: Congratulations! The movie in my mind now plays the main reason why this thread has an M rating ^^ |
...
blood? gore? mutilations??? |
I'll give you a hint, there's only so many things Brad Pitt could be doing underneath someone's robe. Assuming Grim and Brad are two different people of course (yeah I realize he played Joe Black)
So the Grim Reaper Brad Pitt is wearing a Vampire Brad Pitt underneath?
Go on... |
Use your own dirty imagination :P
WHO are you calling dirty!!!
The one who brought up the topic of Brad Pitt hidden by Grim's wide flowing robe? *innocent smile*
Oh how embarrassing, there goes all my goth kid cred. I got my Anne Rice movies mixed up.
Still salty about it though. Even if I got the wrong movie. Also Antonio Bandares as Armand? DID THEY READ HIS DESCRIPTION?! I mean, don't get me wrong, it was an skillful portrayal, but nothing about him signaled "adolescent." He's described as cherubic, so Antonio brought a little too much smolder to the role. |
Haha yeah, that was a particularly odd casting decision. If I hadn't read the book, I'd probably say it's fine - he does come across as a reasonably believable vampire in the movie after all - but a 17 year old Russian painter prodigy with pale skin, red curls and the innocent beauty of an ancient statue? No way!
White boxers with red hearts on them
...tentacles.
Comfy jammies!! >:V

pelvis tentacles.
One pelvis tentacle ok
but several... |
Dang. Now I want popcorn.
*steals some of DreadedMartian's popcorn and puts it in a snack bowl*
If he had been old enough, Elijah Wood could have been Armand.... but I think it was ten years too soon for him.
lots of pelvis tentacles.
also, venom, basically. |

I googled and it's more like 5 years. He was 13 at that time, so give or take five more and Elijah Wood would've been almost the age he played Frodo.
When Elijah was 18 he looked 12 tho
To be perfectly honest I'd rather see an 18 year old looking like twelve cast as a beautiful innocently appearing teenage prodigy turned blood sucker than what we got ^^
Then again it's by far not the only movie where the actor selection seems odd. |
Alright Death By Mirrors I'm Game |
Cat pics! My favorite!
The ladies wouldn't be turned on by him though
and the movie needed to appeal to the ladies |
I don't understand people who watch a movie for the sole reason of being turned on by a particular character therein.
If you like cats your gonna loooove......UNICORNS! I agree with Mdom. Sex sells. Not to everyone. But it sells. |
