I know that what's happening now is awful, but honestly I've been a lot happier and productive since working from home and not being pressured to go out all the time, so here's a happy masked avatar!

No need to feel bad about it. On the contrary, I'm glad to hear you're doing so well! Staying at home will have effects on nearly everybody, but as you prove, not neccessarily bad ones. Lots of folks 'round here start being more creative and kind to each other. While I don't intend to downplay the pandemic nor the financial problems, it's at the same time wonderful to see how people discover hidden talents or new passions.

yeah you don't need to be sorry! it's awful for some others but it's good for you personally, and it's okay to accept that and talk about it. and you won't be the only one who finds it to be good, in terms of personal experience, either. i kind of relate, like i can make my own routine now instead of fitting myself to imposed schedules and that does make me more productive. however i also miss having my own room and my own private space.
