60 Pounds of Pasta
Guys, I think I'm an idiot...
So my friend caught me yesterday and said a pasta company in town (that makes dried pastas to sell) was doing a sale...$20 for 20 pounds...and I didn't think it through enough and got 3 different types of pasta...so now I've got 60 pounds of pasta. Anyone have any vegetarian friendly pasta sauce recommendations I can use? I have bowtie, fettuccine, and radiatori. Side note...anyone want pasta? Absolutely willing to ship a 5lb bag of bow tie or radiatori if you'll cover the shipping cost? Lol |
i miss my mother's pasta. :(

~That is a lucky find. Glad you could get a deal like that. Haven't had pasta in a long time.~
|
I mean...considering I live alone, it's a bit excessive and will most likely last for over a year...
But it definitely was a good deal. Lol |
Sixty pounds of dry pasta? Holy heck.
|
so what im hearing is you spent $60 on pasta lol what a dream
|
You could always mix up the sauces. My go-to is Pesto and you can find it at the dollar store.
You could also get alfredo if you like that, and some mushrooms to add in if you like those. |
Or literally mix up the sauces? Apparently a popular request back at uni was mixing alfredo and marinara together for like, probably a creamy tomato sauce. Dunno, never actually had it.
|
Yeah, pink sauce is a pretty popular request, to the point where PizzaRev actually puts it on their menu.
|
Oh, is... is that what it's called?
|
Well, that's what it's called at PizzaRev, at least. I don't know if other places might call it something else. And "pink sauce" is a little ambiguous since there are other things called that too.
