What Anime Do You Think Had the Best Opening/Ending Theme?
 

Or, alternately, what are some of your favorites? I still go nuts for Through The Night from Outlaw Star, but the opening themes from Boku No Hero are sooooooo effing good!

By way of ending themes, I am still in love with Death Note's themes. (But also Splash Free from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club)

But off the top of my head, Naruto's Yura Yura, Naruto's blue bird (ayyy guess where i got inspiration for my UN), Kuroko no Basuke OP 2 (The Other Self), Persona 5 op, aaaaaaand Spongebob. :^)

I like Tank! from Cowboy Bebop a ton (like, I seriously have the full song on my phone and listen to it all the time), and I have always really liked all the intro and outro songs from Shugo Chara! because they are always very fun and high-energy. I have a few, but not all of them also.

I'm just gonna throw it out there that Spongebob isn't technically an anime. It is a western cartoon.

It's so hard to choose, cause I used to watch a lot of maho shojo anime and pretty much all of them have catchy themes, especially the older series imo.

Bluebird is like...the *only* anime opening theme that I know of, on account of not watching anime. But I somehow know half the lyrics to that particular song, and my roommate and I were talking about Naruto once and I just...randomly started singing it?

I'm still not sure what to say.

Never really thought of themes being catchy, as it was more a signal of anime happening and there wasn't enough of the stuff around when I was really into it to compare. I do remember actually being able to sing the end theme to Record of Lodoss War because it was handily in English.

QMC (and all of you), listen to 'Kiseki no Umi', it's the opening of the anime of Lodoss War. It's beautiful T^T almost makes me cry.

I'm addicted to Dried Up Youthful Fame(OP to second season of Free!) again. It's one of my favorites. <3 Really hope OldCodex does the theme for season 3 this summer. I'll be majorly disappointed if they don't. :(

Free's got some good OPs, but the end themes are AMAZING. I've listened to them both at least 30x more than the OPs LOL
