*Casually Sneaks Back*
Sorry for my long absence guys! I moved up into the mountains where we have limited internet access. I don't promise I'll be around a ton (not like I was before 24/7 basically anyway) but I will try to be active again! I missed you guys!
welcome back! glad to see you posting again :)
Thanks! I promise I will try not to just up and disappear without warning again.
MEKATRAAAAA
Glad to know you're alive! How is life with limited internet access? |
Weirdly productive. I've taken up doing caligraphy with an actual dip pen. I sewed an entire viking style tent by hand. I sleep 8 hours a night now... I dunno man, it's scary.
whoa! Sounds pretty healthy!
I want to see caligraphy pics later. |
Oh heyo, was wondering where you’d gone off to.
Real life decided I needed a break. >.<
Everyone were just asking about you!
Weird, apparently you guys figured out the summoning spell to call upon me.
Mekkie? As in Mekki Mekki? =O
Yes we summoned you back. 8D
It was about time to summon you back. :p-evil:
And I'd love a picture of that viking tent. |
I SUMMON YOU HERE RIGHT NAO.
LIKE NAO. POOF! LETS GOOOO! I NEED TO KNOW YOU REMEMBER ME, DANGIT! AGGHHHH! |
We had out tent up all weekend at Rapier Camp but I dunno if we got a single picture of it... I'll have to look.
I think I remember you, assuming you're the same Batty I knew on Roliana/Gaia |
YUP. Tori, Batty, same thing. <3
I betcha if I said "Zane", youd rememeber me! I MEAN WE USED TO HAVE PHONE CALLS AND EVERYTHING |
I remembered you even without mentioning Zane!
How are you? What're you up to? |
Speaking of Zane, where tf is he even at.
@Espy;; He died. xD He doesnt really do social media or forum sites anymore.
@Mekkie;; IVE BEEN GOOD! IM A MOM NOW! Moved out of Florida to Kansas to be with my fiance about a year ago, and ended up having a beautiful little babygirl. I'M STILL IN SHOCK. Lmao. HOW ABOUT YOU!? IVE FRIGGEN MISSED YOU! |
Awwww, baby bat!
I'm good. I moved to Colorado back toward the beginning of the year. The only internet up here is satellite and it's crappy, slow and cuts out all the time. I got married to a really great guy. Um... we have a dog now? |
My sympathy for the crappy connection, but congrats on the dog (and guy)!
Actually the crappiest part is that my husband is an item developer for IMVU, so he's constantly using up all the internet for hours at a time. Since it brings money into the household I forgive him, but it does get annoying when I'm trying to do something.
I didn't even know you can earn actual money with IMVU... Second Life, yes I heard about people making a living from...
Well, either way, I think it's sort of a cool job - even though I feel your pain about not being able to go online whenever you want. |
Yeah, the exchange rate isn't great, but he makes around a hundred bucks a month making items. It's not so unlike Second Life.
To be honest the one thing that always ticked me off about IMVU was that you had to pay to get Guest_ removed from your name. Otherwise I would've probably made it my #1 messenger of choice. There's just something deeply satisfying about playing around with 3d versions of oneself.
I tend to go through phases on wanting to play on there, especially since I could just poke my husband to make pretty much whatever clothing I really wanted. (Which is how I got actually decent looking scrubs on there) I had VIP for a while, but that was a couple years ago, but at least that means the guest is gone from my name.
Back when I had IMVU installed, I didn't even have a viable method of paying for stuff online. The only thing I was able to get were amazon gift cards. But to be honest I'm not even sure if I would have paid just to get my name when I could have it in SL and similar places for free. Some ancestors probably passed me a cheapskate gene.
I had VIP because it gave me an extra private chat room and swag each month, the getting my name thing was just a bonus, but yeah I agree it's a bit bunk.
Awww! Im so happy for you!
And yus! Shes an absolute gorgeous little baby bat. Her name is Seraphina Morrigan, and shes a whole four months old <3 Colorodo isnt too far from us! Next time my roomies go on vacay there, I should come visit you! |
We need to keep Tris active for long enough that Sera and Winter can be second-gen Trisphites.
Natsu said "HELL YEAH!!!!"
That would be amazing though, omg. |
Awww, second gen Trisphites sounds cute. I bet your baby bat is super cutest! I'm so happy for you!
We're toward the middle of Colorado, kinda by Aspen, way up in the mountains. It's lovely here, although we spent all summer worrying we were gonna catch on fire. |
I agree! Let's keep Trisphee strong and active. I'll even toss in a nice welcoming gift for both Winter and Seraphina when they're old enough to register.
Lets not rush it though! I want them to be little for as long as they can <3
Keep them young X3
Seriously kids grow up too darn quick. I blinked and my little nephew that I swear I was just bottle-feeding a week ago turned 18.
