Futuristic Downfall? Or can the Rebels win?
 

Plot ish thing:
When the end of the year 2012 neared it's end, people were planing for the end of the world. The doomsday was upon them and most were unsure of what to do as the preordained day was counting down. The crowds swarmed the stores and rioted as things came to a close. The day closed in and people awaited the end in their lairs built in the basements of their homes.
But alas it wasn't meant to be, and people were lost as they came towards the unknown future. Now the year is 2259 and the government has developed a new form of education to try and educate the children so they can control them and make sure the masses are controlled so the chaos doesn't consume the world again.
Unknown to the government though there is a group of young adults that escaped their attention and were never taken in for the brain chip implant to control and monitor them. So now there is a group attempting to find a way to quietly over throw the government. Oh did I say quietly? Most of these people want to make it an all out war, but first they have to find their way past the newest recruits to the local military. Lycanthropes. Not just of the wolf brand either, the ranks include tigers, leopards, rats, snakes and such. What will the people do to accomplish their goal? Who will be sacrificed and how will they reshape the world if they gain control?


Opening setting is in the big city near the main capital, the war is raging and the rebels are having problems in their ranks. If they don't solve the squabbles soon, they may suffer the fate of the brain chips.
(Any form of character is welcome. Witches, wizards, lycanthrope, and combat specialists.)
This is a new idea and just came out of nowhere when I started typing. ^^" Hope someone will help me toy with this idea.

An explosion in the distance caught the attention of a young dark haired woman. "Hnn..... Oops... That one got a little out of control." A small giggle escaped her as she continued to walk away, but froze when she heard someone yell behind her. "THERE! Damn it! It's that girl again!" The voice held a growling rumble as the police ran towards her. "Crap!" Sparing only a moment, Charlie glanced back to catch site of the wolf like man leading the human cops towards her. Taking off to try and escape, she dashed down an alley to try and lose them.

Slipping on a torn bag of trash, a groan slipped from her throat as she crashed to the pavement. Pushing up carefully, the emerald orbs glanced back and saw some of the humans run past the alley opening. "Nnngh.... Hopefully these ones are stupid." Grumbling as she hurried to keep going and wind her way through the alleys, doubling back to recross her path. Stopping quietly at the back door to a restaurant, she smiled and slipped inside to grab a meal to take home.

Slamming the door behind her, Charlie smiled as glanced down at the large canine lying on her floor, tail thumping. "Hey Jason." Chuckling as she set the to go bags on her rickety wooden dinner table. "Hurry up and get over here so you can eat." Murmuring as she heard the audible clicks and crunches before a pair of slightly muscled arms slid around her waist. "Okay.... Quit being affectionate or I'll have to shoot you....Again." Smirking slightly she turned her head to look at the lycanthrope that was hugging her. "I swear sometimes I think I should have left you on the road.." "But you know you love my company." He said with a wink as he crossed to a dresser to grab a pair of shorts since the rule of the house was there had to be a least something to cover your necessary bits. "Good you're finally trained." She commented and set the plates out with the extras still sitting in the bag. "What do you expect? If a fighter wants to have a roof over their head and stay in your place, then we have to follow the rules.... Or end up with a silver knife at our throat."

(ooc: She offers rooms for any rebels as long as they follow her house rules. :3)

A man wearing a dark cloak walked down the streets of the dark city, everything was calm as it could be, that was until he saw a huge explosion in the distance. Not having anything to do he decided to go and investigate, on his way to the explosion he saw a girl running his way, he backed into a dark alley and watched as she was pursued by the police and the leading lycanthrope. He continued to watch as the girl slipped down the opposite alley way and the police ran by her. The man decided to shadow the girl and see where she was going, so he slowly followed her sticking to the shadows and not making a sound. He watched as she entered a building slamming the door. The man decided to make a place to sleep ontop the roof that night.

Charlie paused for a moment when Jason started to sniff at the air around them. "Hmmm.... We have a guest coming up the fire escape." He said with a chuckle as he glance towards the window. "Shall I go scare them of or greet them?" He asked with a devious smirk. "Hmmm.... Nah I'm bored anyways and could use some fun. I think I shall go have some fun visiting." Murmuring as she took a bite of the sandwich and removed her two long sleeved duster jacket. Sliding the wrist sheaths off she only kept the fire star on her as she slid through the open window to hurry up the well cared for steps to peek over the roof.

The man sat on the roof with his cloak wrapped around him, "so already noticed me here huh?" he asked looking at the girl his red eyes the only thing visible in the darkness.

"Not to hard to miss a new scent in town... So. Friend or foe?" She joked playfully and leaned against the edge of the roof, he hand hoverin carefully at her side away from both of her guns, although she could get them easily. "Heh... And if you are friend, an a rebel at that, I'd invite you to join us for Chinese."

"I am only a wanderer, traveling from town to town, my only enemy is that of those that want an enemy," he said with a small laugh. "But it does seem like most my enemies are from the government, so maybe i could help if there is alot of traveling involved," he said as he stared at the girl.

Lance was wandering about the city he had stumbled into an alley when he heard the large explosion in the distance, A Chesire like grin formed on his face he enjoyed the sound of death it gave him a rush. It made his brow sweat his heart pump and his sharp fox teeth clench. "Oooh la la, blood shed in the distance huh? Maybe there is a girl there of which I can be there so called knight and shinning armor"

Lance snickered after speaking to himself jumping from wall to wall carefully watching not to step on his long soft black and red colored tails as he jumped. Making it to the top of the building lance noticed a women run by him through the alley and slip. It was hard for him to hold back the laughter from the sight of it but he somehow kept his cool. He watched as she stood up and made her way to the back door of the restaurant and talked to the shadowed figure.

Lance was good at hiding his scent, in fact he had to be it helped his abilities as a mercenary. He watched in silence listening to there conversations. He did not dare show his face he was well known to the common towns people as the Kistune of slaughter there wasn't a person who didn't know his name. He didnt wanna make any enemies at least not yet.

Leo, witnessing the woman talk to the mysterious man on the rooftop decided whether or not to descend onto the womans hideout. He had not eaten in days and saw the woman's chinese food out in the open in the kitchen. Realizing this was his only chance, Leo made his way down from the rooftop he was on. Using his katana to grind down the side of the building, when he was close to the balcony he kicked the wall he was grinding on to send him forward. He rolled onto the balcony, barely making it.

Leo walked into the kitchen, making his way to the food. Until he heard a gigantic growl escape from behind him.. Leo turned to find a lycanthrope behind him. A strong one at that. "Damn... and I was so close.." Leo drew his blade knowing he didn't have any more homemade smoke bombs on him. The lycanthrope only gave Leo a wicked grin.

The man looked at the girl, "did you hear that, sounds like something is going on down in your kitchen," he said standing up slowly.

The lycanthrope charged at Leo, he barely had time to dodge it. Leo quickly slashed at his opponent, proving his sword ineffective. The lycanthrope grinned at Leo's foolishness, Leo then threw his crossblade at the lycanthrope. That proving to be useless too. Knowing he couldn't win, Leo ran towards the balcony hoping for a quick escape.

But the lycanthrope intercepted him and flung Leo backwards like a ragdoll. Leo, injured struggled to get up, knocking over pots and pans. Suddenly, he heard footsteps coming...

The cloaked man jumped down through the window just as the lycanthrope tossed the boy. "well i guess i should do something," he said as he slipped on a glove that caused a slight static bolt around his wrist as it came on, then the man was completely invisible. He struck the lycanthrope in the back with a strong kick to distract it then ran picked the boy up and escaped through the opposite window until they were on a nearby buildiing on the rooftop he set the boy down and removed the glove and became visible again. "Hi there," the man said with a slight laugh.

Leo looked bewildered at the man before him. "A super hero in a city like this, eh?" Leo said mockingly. He made sure he had all of his equipment, and noticed he had left his crossblade downstairs. "Crap, better go get it, then, time for a hasty retreat. Oh and thank you, I guess." Leo descended back downstairs in search of his crossblade.

Lance had heard a crashing noise in the kitchen area of the building and decided to send his attention towards it> "What the hell?" he whispered to himself trying to keep his cover intact. He wasn't sure exactly what was going on placing his hand on the hilt of his katana in case of concentration.

"Oh I see..." Trailing off as she heard all the noise. "Damn it... What trouble has Jason gotten himself into now!" Cursing as she rushed down the stairs and dove through her window. Rolling up into a crouch with her gun drawn and aimed. "What the frick???? Why are you guys making a mess of my kitchen!?! And Jason back off already! We have enough food for your bottom less put and three more..." Grumbling as she hurried over to her friend as the two men disappeared.

Moving to the counter after tending to her friend, she set out the meal boxes. "Okay...." Stopping when she saw the weapon left behind. "Hmmm...." Picking it up she gazed down at the item. "Interesting..."

Waiting until everything seemed normal again the man hopped through the window, "guess ill take you up on that chinese food if there is any left," he said looking around at the messy kitchen.
