"Community Discussion" is now "Trisphee Talk"
 

Howdy, Trisphee, it's your friendly neighborhood coder coming around and doing some cleanup.

It has come to my attention that, while regulars to the site can figure out the difference between Community Discussion and Central Square, it's less than obvious to new users. Now of course, the new users haven't done anything wrong except post a thread in the wrong section -- but that's not really their fault!

The mods have no problems rearranging things to be in the appropriate section, but we've decided it would work better to just make things a bit more obvious. So what you'll see now is that "Community Discussion" is now named "Trisphee Talk" to make it more obvious that you're supposed to talk about things directly relevant to Trisphee as a site (like, for instance, site features, avatars, the storyline, etc.). We've also moved Central Square up so it's clear that it's the "general chat" section instead of just being buried in the middle of more topic-focused sections.

So... Sorry for rearranging your links on you! I know I'm going to be clicking the wrong sections for a little while, but we'll all get used to it pretty quick.

As an additional note, we'll be spending some time over the next day moving threads around into the appropriate places -- we've got some general chatter threads there that don't fit with the revised definition of Trisphee Talk, so we'll be punting them over to Central Square. If you're wondering where things went, well, that's it.

I looked at the new title like, "What just happened?"

Thank you for clearing that up and I like the name change. It sounds cute and inviting like we're on a Game Show. xD

I love the name changed, perhaps you can talk to Fenris and ask to make a contest to name the forum something more fun. Trisphee talk sounds boring xD

I never said I didn't like it, I just think it sounds boring. It needs to be more like "SUPER MEGA ULTRA TRISPHEE TALK TIME" XD

Love this update. I myself would sometimes get confused between the two ^^;;

I think "Trisphee Talk" is the perfect name. And about it being boring, ... forum names aren't exactly supposed to be exciting O.o

exciting can be fun, if it's clever. I remember back in Beta I wanted the market section to be called "Interplanetary Smuggling 101" but nobody else would go for it. XD I think Trisphee Talk is a great name though. it's simple and clear on what it's supposed to be.

Oh, and the achievements involving this section should have their descriptions changed, no?

I rather like Trisphee Talk. It has a nice ring to it and exciting in it's own way.
