Tavern at CoST OOC (setting up)

How long have you been traveling? Weeks? Months even? Maybe you've been on the road for so long that time no longer means anything. Feeling weary, you continue onward.

As dusk falls, you notice some bright lights on the horizon. They get bigger and brighter the closer you get until you realize that it's a building; an enormous multi-story building with the quaint, exterior appearance of those from 17th century earth. It looks warm and inviting, which is exatly as it should be and you decide to stop, at least for the night.
As you enter the door, you feel a slight tingle.

"Welcome!" A woman with blood-red hair and large black wings calls out, smiling gently at you. "Don't mind that tickly feeling, it's just a translation spell of sorts. Makes it easier to communicate without having to learn hundreds of languages. And that's not an exaggeration."
She gestures around the main room and you see a jumbled array of other travelers, some are recognizable, and the rest are completely foreign.
"I suppose I should properly introduce myself. My name is Danica SaDiablo, owner of Tavern at the Crossroad of Time and Space. Tavern Cost for short."

Welcome to Tavern Cost. It is a warm and welcoming place, but there are still a few basic rules to remember.

1. Follow all of Trisphee's rules/ToS, etc.
2. No trying to control other characters beyond your own.
3. No actual fighing inside the in. Small squabbles are okay, but when punches start flying, take it outside. (No really, there's a great sparring field out back!)

Have you read this far and are now wondering "what exactly is a tavern rp?" Well, for me, it's a very relaxed rp setting where you can work on your writing skills and character development in a completely pressure free environment.

Also, due to my chosen setting for this rp, you can have and use literally ANY character you want. And, as long as you can keep track of them all, there are currently no limits on quantity of characters.

General Tavern Layout

Floor 1: Dining area, kitchens, bar, lounge, library, staff sleeping quarters.
Floors 2-4: Rooms for guests.
Floor 5: Aviary
Sparring ground, stables, and garage to be found behind the tavern.

Quest Board

While Tavern Cost is like most basic tavern rps, the addition of the quest board may (or may not) be a bit more unique. Essentially, quests will be like mini D&D campaigns, but without the dice.

-Should a person (or group) decide to take on a quest, the quest should be rp'd in a separate thread, using the title of the quest, to make the flow in the main tavern thread less confusing.
-Users may submit quests to the quest board.
-The main enemy or general npcs required for the quest should be played by the person who created the quest, unless they ask others to help with it.
-Your character(s) may only be part of one quest at a time. (Ex: You have characters Sam, Max, Elsa. Max and Elsa go on quest A, Sam can go on Quest B, but Max and/or Elsa cannot also go on quest B until quest A has been completed.
