We have Ads now? ... What?
 

So, upon logging on... there was an ad at the bottom of the page.

Now, as I browse around through the forums, there are ads on the side, that pop in everytime I scroll my mouse to the right side of the page.

Is this a new thing? Anyone else have these ads? Or have they been around for a bit, and I'm just daft and not noticed?

Batty, I'm afraid you probably have picked up some sort of malware. Run a few different security scans and see what you pick up. You may have also installed some sort of browser toolbar (by accident, it's annoyingly easy).

If we were to ever run ads, they would be clearly marked in boxes labeled "Advertisement" and they would be injected into tasteful parts of the page. They'd also be Google ads. (They'd probably also be advertising video games.)

I'm not using an add blocker, and I don't see any ads. Hope your computer's not compromised in anyway, Batty. :(

Seems like when Zane was using my laptop, he downloaded some program.

I believe its all fixed up, now! Phew!
