Apocalyptica [Open for Applications!]
 

This is a roleplay that is based on survival in a zombie apocalypse.

"A new cure for cancer, "Dinaphin", was distributed to several cancer patients at little or no cost to them. Scientists, cancer patients, and the world were ecstatic about this breakthrough cure involving six injections over the course of 6 months. However, after the 5th injection, patients began to show symptoms of fever, violent coughing, seizures, vomiting of blood, and blacking out before their hearts ceased completely. The Z-Virus spread throughout the backwoods, targeting homeowners of small cabins and farms. No one in the city has become aware of this yet, however the U.S. Government was informed of gruesome deaths at camp sites, but only a few bodies were found. As days go by, the virus is slowly making its way to larger cities. Aside from the virus itself, survivors face danger and obstacles around nearly every turn. Many choose to form alliances, some travel alone, while others turn against one another. This is the ultimate test of survival, and anything that could go wrong will possibly go wrong."

Short, Brief Description: Carolina grew up in the outskirts where her parents were farmers. With Carolina being an only child, her parents left her their will after they tragically died in a boating accident. She sold the land and farm house and moved into an apartment in the city to pursue her passion for food as a food critic and restaurant manager. She lives on her own with no kids and has no animals, and has no idea of the upcoming changes to her life as she knows it.

Short, Brief Description: Edric, while in high school, fell somewhere between normal and geek. His passive nature and love of learning makes him a natural bookworm and thus he knows a lot of random things. Unsurprisingly he has foreknowledge to surviving a zombie apocalypse. Surprisingly though Edric does know more useful things as well. Edric graduated only recently with no idea what to do. Running headlong into a college experience wasn't an option. He had no idea what he wanted to be until recently he has little choice but to be a survivor.
