Figured out! Thank-you!

I bought an Anka Egg, but have no idea what part of my inventory it went into.

I can only see it in the "Item Exchange" under games section. So I know it's there I just don't know how to unlock it.

~

Also with the item Fashionable footwear... How do you get it to use the leg pose and not see the legs behind them?

This is what it currently looks like on me. *points to the side*

*A few minutes later I found the egg* lol

So the avatar system doesn't conveniently remove body parts like some sites might, but if you go to the Body Shop, we have body parts that you can buy to make a body without the legs so they don't show behind the Fashionable Footwear legs.

...hope that makes sense.

Hm, kind of. I'll have to look around more.

Basically go to Body Shop, buy body parts, Frankenstein your way to the avatar you desire.
XD

But yeah, it's probably easier to understand once you can play around with it too.

Oh. And in the avatar building page, you do have to unselect the body. There's a stack of icons to the right of the avatar preview. The third one down is a blank body. Click on that and it will have skintone options and one with a dotted outline. The dotted outline removes the default base shape.
