The Vampire Diaries, anyone?
 

So anyone watch the show? What do you think of it? Who's your favourite character? Who do you want Elena with? What do you think of Elena being a vampire as of the end of season 3? Who do you think she will choose: Damon or Stefan?

I don't actually watch this though I saw a few of them. It is already in the 3rd season? Wow. I did read the books though.

Speaking hypothetically I think Elena would choose Stefan over Damon.

Something about the tv show did not appeal to me. I am not sure what that was either. I read the books...I guess I had a different sense of them. I should try watching it again.

I love the show
Damon is my favorote character and actually now I love Caroline at the beginning I bated her but now she is awesome @-@

My favourite male characters are Kol, Niklaus, and Elijah. <3 While my favourite female characters is Elena cause she's so gorgeous and a Canadian; and Bonnie for her character. <3

The originals add such great plot twists to the storyline. :'D
While Bonnie keeps everyone grounded cause of her power as a witch, and then almost everything's centred around Elena. :3

I absolutely LOVE TVD. Loved the books as well. And as for my favorite character... Have you seen Damon? Yum. lol. It goes without say that I'm an Elena/Damon shipper. Something about Stefan just irks me. I also really love Klaus. <3 If I were Caroline I'd jump all over that. Haha.

Stupid ho's already chosen Stefan. -rolls eyes-

I the books, I rooted for him. In the show, I root for Damon.

I know. D< She just doesn't even know. I want to smack her.

But yes, I agree with you Batty with the books versus television show. This Doctor is right there with you. <3

I haven't missed an episode yet.
But I don't know.. the seasonal finale was all O___O;; SERIOUSLY?
And Bonnie's starting to piss me off hardcore.

I missed a few episodes back in season two, but i'm working through the whole series again because seriously i have nothing better to do until season four comes out. as for the seasons finale... i kind of expected something like that to happen. like seriously. >.<; i mean her being turned happened in the books i didn't see them skipping out in the show. so her staying a vampire i don't exactly see happening either for real. that'll probably irritate me a little bit too. and as for bonnie. i don't know. she's not my favorite person ever...

At least, not anymore.


And I know, I know, but they could have done it BETTER, you know?
I mean, drowning and being saved by Stephan? AGAIN? Cliche much?

Well, she hasn't exactly said it to their faces. And I don't really count that over the phone conversation she had with Damon.

And now that she's vampire and remembers everything that Damon compelled her to forget, I wonder who she'll choose now.... DUN DUN DUNNNNNN!!!

Omg, I know right? Season 3 finale was intense and amazing. <3
I had a feeling all along that Elena was gonna be a vampire one day, and I was right!!!! : D

Though apparently the producers and directors were actually planning on making her a vampire in the season 2 finale. Do you guys think they should have done the Elena-change-into-vampire in season 2 finale or was it better of them to do it like they did in season 3 finale?



I like how Bonne grounds everyone since she's pretty much the only witch in the series now, but at the same time I really don't like her attitude. And pretty much all the attitudes of all the witches because they're all so arrogant to some degree. The only witches I really liked were Sheila Bennett and Bonnie before Sheila passed away. I was sooo sad when Sheila died. D: <3 I liked her a lot, and she really grounded Bonnie both magickally and attitude-wise.

I ADORED the books, but the show just seemed too much like they were grasping for a new Buffy-style fandom. It just bothered me a bit too much.

I absolutely love this show. Obsessed, really. I think it's my all time favorite vampire show. I love Caroline. SO HOTT! Vampire Caroline is > Human Caroline.

I seriously need to rewatch it all. It was so amazing. I seriously adore this show and I really want to read the books

Well, I heard the tv show and books are quite different. So keep that in mind when you do read it?

And omg, new season 4 has started already!!!! Squeee!!!! BUT I'm gonna wait till a few more episodes have passed till I watch them so that I can watch 'em all at once! ;D

How has everyone been liking season 4 so far?

I'm on the fence about it, personally.

I don't follow it anymore though. I should get back to it.

I haven't watched any episodes since the current season paused for Christmas holiday break as I tend to let it run its course first, then watch all at once so that I don't have to deal with weekly cliffhangers. :P

I am waiting for this season to go on hiatus so I can catch up

I haven't even watched season four yet, let alone season five. XD But I'll get there eventually.... Once I find time to. :P

I just got caught up with where it is on television and it's pretty good, though they are trying to throw too many twists in there it seems. Like some of the latest things they put in it are just ridiculous... But it still keeps me watching for some reason. >_<
Though this Damon and Elena stuff is killing me. Ugh. He's who I want her to end up with, not Stefan. I hate him. xD
The Silas stuff doesn't seem right though... I don't think he's gone yet, especially since he didn't pass through Bonnie or Amara it seems. She would have been really upset if he'd passed through her and she would have known he was dead then and that they wouldn't be together.

i've read all the books and watch the show every week. i love Damon - books and show. =)

Yeah my mom and always record it and watch it when we have time. Only problem my sister-in-law watches when it airs and spoils it when she can't keep her mouth shut -.-

that's kinda rude. i'm the only one i know who watches it, and since i'm out Thursday at 8, i'll watch it online when i get home or on Friday. so if i happen to get spoiled, it's my own fault.

Yeah she doesn't mean to, she just gets really excited about it and can't stop herself :P Most of the time she talks to my mom though and my mom doesn't tell me what she said, so I'm usually safe

heh yeah, i can see that. my older daughter used to be very liberal about spoiling one of my friends if he hadn't seen episodes of a show yet that we had. (Supernatural). she doesn't do that any more.

I watched like season 1 and bits of season 2.. -hard to get into something that was being forced on me-
