The Edonil boarding school for gifted boys had been standing for over one hundred years, it use to be that you could only get in if you could pay the high monthly fees, but over the last ten years if you could get a marking of 80% or above you could gain placement at the highly sought after boarding school

He looked to his map then to his timetable "Well it seems simple enough" he say to himself using the map to direct himself to his dorm room, he couldn't believe that he had actually got accepted into such a prestigious school. Though he was happy that he was doing his parents proud. At the moment he was wearing worn down white sneekers, slightly tattered blue trousers and a white shirt. Everything he needed had already been moved and his uniform would be provided.

Finally finding the way to his dorm room he looked at it "Trust me to get number thirteen" he say with a sigh shaking his head from side to side slowly his long flowing raven hair dancing around his small petite form "I'll have to do" he say opening the door and walked in, his deep sea blue eyes going wide "I could fit my home in this room three times!" he exclaimed falling backwards in disbelief

Ryou had his things moved into dorm 13 earlier that morning. He was told he would have to share a room. He was not too thrilled about that, but was okay with it so long as his dorm mate was quiet and kept to himself. He didn't know anything about the other except for the fact he scored 5% higher in average marks than he did. He was generally tidy, being raised in a clean and prosperous household. He was the youngest of all the kids in his family, being the baby.

He had entered the dorm around 10 am, getting the movers to place his things where he saw fit. In the bedroom, he had chosen the bed on the right, not wanting to be by the window. He had his laptop on his desk beside the bed. He kept a vast collection of books as well. Some of those books were a little unnerving if his family ever checked through them. He had been in the shower, just about finishing up as he turned off the water. He walked out once he was finished, wearing his towel around his waist as he dried off his hair. He sat on his bed, pulling some clothes out of his suitcase to wear.

Getting over the initial shock of how big the room was he stood up and closed the door behind him. He knew that he would have a roommate and that didn't bother him to much as long as he could study, Looking to everything he felt slightly out of place, but took his small bag and took the bed to the left, this didn't bother him to much he liked sunlight.

Placing his bag down silently he went to the desk next to his bed and placed down the laptop his parents had saved since the acceptance letter arrived. He felt so bad that they had spent so much money on him but he would prove to them it was worth it, that he could provide for them like they had done for him. "I won't fail" he whispered

Hearing running water his eyes went to where the sound was emanating from "Hello?" he called out, his voice kind of shaky at meeting the co occupier of the room so soon after arriving, seeing the boy walk out he turned his head embarrassed "Umm..." he was startled he didn't know what to do but want to hide under his bed

Ryou had come out of the shower in time to see someone duck and cover under the other bed. By the appearance of this boy. He assumed that he was one of the cleaners. Though from the glimpse he'd seen, looked awful young to be hired by the school. "uh...Hello? You can get up. I won;t bite...much." Ryou teased, waiting for the youth to crawl from under the bed so he could get a better look at him.

As the boy got up, Ryou studied him and his shifty movements. Could he be...scared? Maybe he was shy and nervous or something. He then noticed the clothes he had on. He assumed he definitely was the hired help. "Hello. Are you part of the cleaning staff?" He sat on his bed as he put on his socks, careful to not let his towel fall loose. He did not need anyone seeing his body, especially the help. Though at home his help did get to see it when he was younger. They'd end up being more of a family than his parents. He understood though that they were very important and busy people. He sometimes got to see them for a full 30 minutes on Sundays. He called them often from his cell, as he would do here.

Kyoshi moved slightly from under his bead and looked to the other boy, but ducked under once more as he heard the tease "Please don't tease, if I wanted that I would have applied to a public school" his voice so quiet it could barely be heard. Eventually he got the nerve to fully get out from under the bed and straightened himself out, he felt nervous as he felt the others eyes on him.

He blinked at the question and shook his head "C-cleaning s-staff?" he questioned before shaking his head "N-no, I am studying here" he say sitting on his own bed "M-my name is K-kyoshi... t-this is the room I was assigned" he stutter holding out the letter so the other could see if he wanted

Ryou softened his stare when he heard the other stutter so much. He looked at the slip, sure enough he was his dorm partner. He sighed, sitting on the edge of his own bed. "Name's Ryou. No offence but you do look like you don't really belong here. That's why I guess I kind of assumed you were a part of the cleaning staff though they also have a uniform they have to wear." He wondered about the boy's stutter and how he managed to get into the school. He'd heard that there would be a poor kid coming here. He wondered if this was the one.

"Is that stutter some sort of medical thing or just nerves? Not trying to sound mean. Just curious." He got up, going for his laptop to check on his stocks. He recently bought some for an animal sanctuary charity organization. All his funds would go to the charity. At least until he'd let them earn 100.000$ worth of funds. After that he would cut them off of his premium membership. He also decided to fix up his profile for the school's website. Updating his likes and dislikes and to see if they had any information on the poor kid. He wanted to see if he could be identified as being in this room or not. He just didn't feel right in asking him.

Kyoshi looked to Ryou and smiled a little "It's nice to meet you" his voice still very timid as spoke "I don't take offense, I guess I would think the same thing if I was you" he looked down at the floor grabbing the bottom of his shirt "I stutter when I'm nervous or scared... I-I'm both at the moment, being around so many people who are of a higher social status" he confess

Bringing his forest colored eyes he watched as the other boy moved to his laptop for a moment "You do stock exchange?" he inquired but looked down "Sorry I didn't mean to pry... I was curious" he say quickly, standing he moved to his own laptop that seemed second best to the others, but she looked at it with love, it was something he had wanted since he was ten but money was always so tight for his family they could never get him such luxurious items, but they managed somehow to get the funds together so he had something all his own.

Sitting down at his desk he turned his own laptop on and started looking through the school website foe information on the history of the school. "Wow, some famous people came here" he sounded amazed, but soon he pushed his laptop to the side and brought out a notepad, pen and a notebook to get a head start on some studying, he hadn't bothered putting any information on himself up on the schools website as he never intended to socialize with anyone if he could help it.

"Yeah I have a few stocks. Helping out an animal charity right now. Once that's finished I get what's left over to do with as I please. That may be used on other stocks if there's others I take any interest in." Once he was done checking stocks and editing his information, leaving his interested in blank. He checked out who his teachers would be. He also caught on to what the kid had said. "Ah. you the one who had to earn your way in?" He used less than hurtful terms, finishing up on his profile with a picture if himself. He was glad the relationship status and sexuality stuff was optional. He himself hadn't really been sure as to what he was, only knowing he did like a fair bit of yaoi.

Ryou was at least glad the boy hadn't had a medical thing, chuckling as he'd still stutter a little. At least it was not permanent, that would just get annoying. "This is going to be brutal. Waking up that early and not coming back here until after 6. oh well at least I get to eat whenever I want. My parents bought out the teachers. My stomach chooses when it wants to eat. It's always been that way. Speaking of eating...I'm starving." He placed his laptop back on his desk, getting up and looking in the kitchen for food. He shouted from there. "you're welcome to anything in here as well if you didn't bring any with you. I had my servants fill up the kitchen with tons of stuff just to get started."

Kyoshi continued in his studies as the boy spoke of stocks and helping others "It is a good thing that you help those less fortunate than yourself" he say in a low voice as he turned the page "If you are asking if I am here on scholarship, then yes I am the poor kid... I am proud of who I am and that I didn't have to fling money to earn my way in here like some" his voice showed it wasn't personal to the other more an opinion and observation.

"The long hours do not bother me, I think I'll enjoy them" his voice showing honesty, though he moved into his bag and pulled out a few things one of them being a chocolate bar another being an application form to a nearby cafe, he paid no mind to what the boy said about his parents paid for him to eat when he wanted "I am fine thank you" he whisper gently as he began on the application form

"Ah. I also didn't have to buy my way in, just buy off the teachers so I can eat and not get sick when being forced to eat at certain times. Yeas I like to help the animals. Not so much for humans though. They always screw around, that's why it's easier to donate to pet shelters and zoo's and wildlife parks." He sighed, not really caring what the other did. He took out a frozen works pizza. Having to cook it in the oven. Only problem is he did not know how to cook. "Hey! you know anything about cooking?"

Ryou wasn't sure how to turn on a stove or wait for it to bake or how long it would take to cook or not burn. He was rethinking making something like this. It seemed like too much work if it got ruined. He walked back to the bedroom, hoping he knew something at the very least. He couldn't help but shake his head as he saw the chocolate bar. "I seriously doubt that counts as a meal. So...can you cook at all? I have no clue how, as I was never taught. I don't want to ruin the pizza by burning down the kitchen."

"My words where not directed at you personally, I do apologize however if I caused insult" his voice was humble as he spoke "Animals are more reliable at times than humans, but if you can find the right person you will find they are just as reliable" he say continuing with what he was doing, hearing him call out he lifted his head once more "Yes I can cook, you mean you can't" he found it surprising that he could get into a school meant for smart kids and not know how to cook.

He stand and look at the other "I eat properly, I didn't say it was a meal, I said I was fine" he say smiling faintly "I just needed sugar is all, it helps the mind stay active" he say walking into the kitchen and looked to see what kind of cooker it was before turning it on, after a few moments he placed the pizza in the oven and walked out "It will be ready in eighteen minutes" he say with a mono toned voice heading back to his desk to continue what he was going "I would suggest signing up for cookery, it's a helpful life skill" his voice calm as he opened his chocolate bar finishing the application form

Ryou sighed. "My family never cooked for themselves, we always had a chef cook our meals. He also had one rule. 'Stay out of my kitchen'." He tried mimicking the chef's accent. He'd thought it was a common thing since most of the school were in his situation as well. Rich kids did not know how to do basic living skills, because they were never taught. "It's more common than you think. I bet more than 70% of this school cannot do this either. I doubt I'd be in the mood to have another class after classes." He grumbled a bit, flopping on the futon in the other room.

He was pondering asking for help from him, see if he could teach him. He'd probably even pay for the lessons or something. He always carried tons of money in his wallet. It was probably a lot for the other boy. Though it was pocket change for him. "You sure you don't want any. Everyone loves pizza." He said, wiping the drool from his mouth as he started to smell the pizza cooking 10 minutes later.

Moved his application to one side and took a piece of his chocolate as he moved back to studying "I will have to take your word on that" he say with a small voice, somehow he really did feel out of place with his roommate, but even more so with how everyone had been raised. 'I'll be fine if I keep my head down' he thought to himself completing some chemistry questions "I have never eaten pizza, nor do I think I want to" he would reply not looking up from what he was doing "Everything I eat is made from scratch... nothing is frozen, tinned or dried" he say a small yawn coming from his lips

When the time had passed he moved back into the kitchen, getting an oven mitt he carefully removed the pizza from the oven he placed it onto a plate and cut it into eight even pieces, filling the sink with some washing up liquid and hot water he cleaned the knife before drying it and placing it away. Satisfied the kitchen was clean he moved out with the hot pizza and placed it on the nightstand next to Ryou's bed "There you are" his voice was calm, once again he moved to his desk to complete what he was trying to do

"It's just what my parents though could be made quickly. Normally we had stuff dome from scratch as well just not by our own hands. Pizza is good. People like certain ones. but if you like salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, green pepper, onion, bacon bits and cheese among other stuff then you'll like this kind." Ryou stated, looking through the cupboards to see what else was there for non-frozen things. He was glad classes did not start until Monday, being the first day of classes. That way he could prepare and relax for another day. Normally he would have to be in class right now.

"Thanks" Ryou managed to say before devouring half the pizza within the hour. He brought the pan into the kitchen, wrapping the leftover slices and putting them into the fridge. He at least knew how to do that, after a few failed attempts. He tossed the useless plastic wrap into the garbage can. He wondered why the other was so wrapped up in doing homework that wouldn't even be assigned. Once that was done, he went back to the room, grabbing one of his guilty pleasures off of his bookshelf.

Continued what he was doing occasionally reaching for a piece of chocolate "I can see how that would work if you could actually cook" he say his voice seeming distant as he scratched his head at a problem, after a moment he mumbles something to himself at what he was reading before looking down and trying to solve the problem again "Perhaps I may make one at some point" he say his voice seeming to have lightened up before he let out a small yawn.

"Your welcome, but you'll need to find a cooking teacher or something" he say turning the page reading once more, something he done occasionally yawning. Leaning down into his bag he pulled out another chocolate bar and placed it on his desk "so if that is actually this, then it mean this is.... Oh I see now, now I feel dumb for not realizing sooner" he mumbled to himself as he wrote down the answer ignoring the others movements as he went for another piece of chocolate

Ryou shook his head as he heard the other mumbles equations. "How long do you plan to keep that up. I mean we'll need to roam around the school to know where everything is, before Monday." He starts reading his manga, licking his lips as he zones in on it, oblivious to the outside world now. It hadn't taken long before he reached more serious plots as there were. He liked how detailed everything was, even lightly censored. He blushed as things got a bit more delicate.

Often at home he would be alone in his room for days on end, only coming out to eat. He didn't have to go out fir anything else as he had a bathroom off of his room. He'd had one friend growing up. He used to hang around with that boy a little too much for his parents' liking, forbidding him to leave the house. That was when he figured he was a little less than straight, missing his companion but still secretly emailing him every chance he got. This is also what had started his little obsession with yaoi and secretly collecting them.

Kyoshi continued doing what he was doing and listened to the question "Until I decide to go to sleep" he answered bluntly "I've memorized where my classes are and the quickest routes to them already so I really don't need to go wandering if I don't want to" he say turning to a new page in his notebook and continuing his studies.

he looked up from his work for a second and seen the other blushing, seeing what he was reading he to pinked a little 'my room mate is a yaoi fanboy... how could this happen?' he thought to himself, he had nothing against yaoi or yaoi fans as it was something that was widely accepted, he himself found curiosity on such things, but he had never actually dared to pick one up and have a proper look at it, he felt so embarrassed that he dropped his pen and without thinking leaned forward to pick it up only to bang his head on his desk, sitting back up he rubbed his head

Ryou turned when he heard the bang and hiss of pain. "hmm..what did you do? Hit your head or something? Or is it too much studying killing your brain and giving you a headache?" He joked about the last part, hoping to humour the boy. He was oblivious to the fact that the other had noticed what he was reading. "ah. That's too bad cause we could of both figured it out tomorrow or something. Oh well. If I had friends I would ask them." He sighed, thinking about his best friend he still held contact with.

He saved his place in the book he'd been reading, grabbing his laptop and checking to see if he was online. He sighed in relief as he found his friend was online. He talked to him for a bit, telling him where he was and what he was up to. If his friendship with the boy was not secret and forbidden, he would have probably dated him by now. He got over that fact, still he was honest with him about everything and he had understood. The only problem was he already had someone in his life like that.

He sighed, stretching as the laptop lay on his stomach. His friend had been shipped out to another boarding school of sorts, far away and not able to visit. He figured he'd try and see what his room mate was all about. "got any hobbies, I mean besides studying?" He was the type to wait until class to end up doing work. Before that he thought it pointless and a waste of paper he would need later.

Kyoshi held his head an laughed a little "I-I-I..." he took a gulp "I noticed what you were reading Ryou" he was nervous to admit it "I dropped my pen and because I wasn't paying attention when I bent over I hit my head" he say the laughing ebbed "I'm sure some of the others could go with you, I stick out like a soar thumb with my clothing ans would get ridiculed for it" his happy tone dying as he knew it was going to be a tough year for him because he wasn't the same as everyone else

Closing his textbook and notepad he leaned into his back pack and brought out a large envelope, putting it on his desk he wrote an address on it and put his notebook in it before sealing it "I have never had time for hobbies... I've always studied or worked" he would say as he took the wrappers from the chocolate bars, he would stand and move to the waste basket.

Stretching for a moment he moved into the kitchen and got himself a glass of water and moved to his futon placing the water down he moved onto his bead curling as if to sleep, though isolated he seemed happy enough "If you want tomorrow we can go into town, I have a letter I need to post and an application for a job I have to hand in" he say yawning a little

Ryou laughed a bit as well. "Ah yeah. I enjoy it. They have great story lines and also help me out with what I'm trying to do in my spare time too. I haven't told anyone yet but I'm dabbling in original stories and maybe a web comic for it." He thought for a moment. "Hey. Maybe you could fit in something I have? That way you would blend in more until classes start."

"Ah! Sounds like once in a while you should try and have a good time. Everyone needs fun once in a while. Even if it's just for holidays or something. Let me guess. You're going to be looking around for work while you're here too?" He pondered for a moment. "Hmm..my family owns quite a few places around town if you'd care to help me with directions around here I'd help see if you could get a job around town." He pondered the other's words. "Yeah sure. Though you should have more than one application. My family owns like 5 restaurants and shops along the strip mall in town." He watched and figured the other would be taking to sleep now. He went back to his yaoi manga, blushing at the scenes taking place. He stopped before he'd end up getting hot over a book, placing it on his shelf again as he saved his spot. He decided to go to sleep as well, setting his alarm for 9:30 am so he could get up to shower.

Kyoshi listened to him "I would have to take your word on that" he say honestly, hearing that he was going to make his own web-comic be blinked a few times and smiled a little "I wish you luck in your endeavors" he say with a small yawn, his hand moving up to catch it, hearing the boy offer to help him with clothing he shook his head "I'd rather be who I am and be made fun of than pretend I am something I am not and blending in" he say in honesty to the other

"Perhaps, but there aren't enough hours in the day" he say his tone showing his sleepiness "I can understand everyone needs to have fun, but to have any money to myself I needed to work, then I wanted to keep up with my studies" he say moving just slightly "Yes I am going to be working here to... I still have to eat and have stationary for school" he sigh closing his eyes 'we aren't all as fortunate to be able to have anything we like on a whim' he though to himself "I can help you with directions..." he paused for a moment as he other said about taking to his parents to try and get him a potential job and shook his head "I wouldn't feel like I've earned it if you did that" he say quietly "Thank you for the offer though" his voice was sincere when he thanked Ryou

"I handed in six applications on my way to school, I picked up the one I'm handing in tomorrow on my way here" he was more than aware that one application could possibly be enough so he had thought a head, however soon he fell asleep only to wake up at five am the following morning.

Opening his eyes he looked outside with sleepy forest green eyes and stretched listening to the birds outside, after a moment he stood and silently walked to his wardrobe taking out some comfortable black trousers, a plane white shirt, underwear, socks and two towels, before heading into the bathroom to take a shower before the other woke up. He didn't take long only enough time to wash himself and his hair before jumping back out again.

Drying and dressing himself quickly he took his dirty clothing and the wet towels to the washing machine and started a washing load before moving into the kitchen to start cooking some breakfast that consisted of scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, toast and pancakes, not just for himself but the other too, while he was doing this he quietly hummed to himself forgetting that he hadn't tied his hair up thus making himself seem more feminine

Ryou had smelled something good, coming alive earlier than he wanted. He walked out to the kitchen rubbing his eyes before noticing some girl was cooking. "Hey you're not supposed to be in this sch---oh it's you" He laughs a bit, mistaking Kyoshi for a girl. "You could pass as a girl almost just by leaving your hair down like that. Why do you keep it so long anyway? If you don't mind me asking?"

He sat down at the table wondering what smelled so good. "whatcha making? Woke me up an hour early." He rubbed at his eyes again. He'd be sure to take a shower to wake up a lot quicker. He was wearing a pair of black briefs, being his only source of pyjama since he was little. "still plan on going out today?" He wondered, asking anyway as he looked for an energy drink after getting up going to the fridge.

Kyoshi turned and looked back hearing a voice "I am" he say in a warm tone smiling happily, hearing about his hair he blinked, he completely forgot about it and moved his hand into his pocket to take out a long piece of white silk cord and tied his hair up like he normally did "I have been told I could pass for a girl with my hair up too" he say going back to cooking "To the point I get asked out on dates by people" his cheeks flushing slightly as he spoke the sentence "My family like my hair long so I keep it long" he say as if it was sheer logic "My cord my brother got for me, he bought me one every year on my birthday" he say his hand going to the cord that he wore at the moment "This one was to make sure I remember them while I was away" he was happy that he knew his family where with him even though the distance was eminence

Heating Ryou asking what was being made he looked back "I'm cooking breakfast, I made sure there was enough for both of us... it's rude to eat if others aren't" he say showing he had been brought up with morals and manners, slowly he started to move everything he had been cooking onto plates and putting them on the table. "Yes, if only to send my notebook away" he say taking out two plates, two knifes and forks, two glasses and set up the table so food could be shared between them, when done he went to the fridge and pulled out a carton of orange juice and looked around for a jug, when he found one he moved the contents from the carton to the jug, binning the carton before moving to the table with the now filled jug

"It isn't much but I hope you like it, I seasoned the meat a little to make it taste better and the pancakes have different kinds of fruit in them but some have none, as I didn't know what you like, the eggs are seasoned as well" he say moving back to the cupboard getting some maple syrup "Please enjoy" he say allowing the other to choose what he wanted first

"Ah! and yeah you kind of could. Ah I see. Only thing I have of mine is the money." Ryou frowned a little feeling out of place now. He knew his parents always tried to buy his love and affection, not knowing of real love. Ryou looked at all the food, choosing a little of each. "Thanks. I'm sure if you didn't cook we'd probably be eating out of a cardboard box right now." He liked cereal sure, just not all the time. He ate slow savouring the flavours as his mouth watered. It was the tastiest thing he'd ever had. More than the chef at home too.

He finished the meal, waiting for Kyoshi to finish so he would know what to do with the dishes. "Oh yeah! If you didn't notice. There's a dish washer over by the sink too." He waited for him to move first, checking him out based on the earlier comments. He was pretty cute overall. He wondered what all he could do with his hair being that long.

Kyoshi chuckled a little at the agreement his cheeks turning pink "Sometimes it's a compliment, but it does get annoying being hit on all the time" he sigh taking a seat taking a little of everything "Perhaps during a break in the school year I could take you to meet my family, it won't be anything your use to but... the offer is there" he say, he seen how the others body language was with what he said and he knew he was lonely

He quirked and eyebrow "Cardboard box?" he sounded confused, he had never had cereal, it was always a good healthy breakfast in the morning made by his mother, he enjoyed helping as she always seemed so tired. Though for the moment he studied Ryou's face to see how he enjoyed his cooking "Well? How is it?" he ask, before looking at his own food and began to eat quietly, enjoying his breakfast to the very end.

Finishing he placed his cutlery down on the plate and listened "I noticed, I like washing from hand, makes me feel less lazy also I don't have to worry about flooding" he chuckle to the other, standing he took the plates unaware at the moment he was being studied "I use to be a tutor in my high school, helping those better themselves... it paid well enough that I could get things for my parents and birthday presents." he say beginning the task of washing up "To answer your question from yesterday, when I do find time I dance." he say quietly

Ryou blushed a little. "That was amazing. Even our chef doesn't make things taste that good. I meant cereal by the way. I've had it often, since the chef doesn't come in until 12." He lost his thoughts for a moment. Did he say dance? "What kind, Link going to clubs and that kind of thing or? Ah. I don't know how to do either. The dish washer or that way." He drooped into a slight depression feeling a bit useless. He sat and watched, seeing if he could figure out how to do any of them.
"I also know this great candy store that's in town too. They have everything you could think of and more! If you're into things like that...besides chocolate I mean."

Kyoshi looked back and smiled as he was complimented "I'm glad you enjoyed it" his forest green eyes seemingly glowing "I've been cooking since I was seven my mother taught me, but she also taught me that when you make something you should make it something special to you... so my cooking is different to my mothers so it is only stands to reason it would be different to your chefs" he say chuckling turning back to finish cleaning up what was used "I've never had cereal" he confess as he pulled out the plug of the sink filling the jug up with warm water to get rid of the suds

"Clubs? No I do kabuki and that kind of thing" he say taking a towel out and began to dry and put away the things they had used "Washing, drying and putting away things isn't difficult... most people just take the lazy way out" he say contently "I'm sorry I woke you so early" his voice showing he was sorry for it "I like pocky, I haven't had it since I last tutored though" he say moving back to the table when he finished what he was doing

"Oh. Cereal is good. Though I prefer it without milk as I can just eat it as a snack that way. The good snacking cereals are under the sink in the cupboards there." He showed about 6 different cereal boxes." He looked, shocked since the boy never had cereals. "Ah. I get pocky every weekend usually. So probably every Sunday around here. We could stop in the candy shop on the way out after you're done if you want." He wanted to buy pocky for class anyway. He also liked to dare people to play the pocky game. It would be exceptionally fun to see in an all boy's school.

"I need to buy some for class anyway. Something to keep me busy while waiting for lunch, or to taunt everyone else at lunch. Hey. Ever play the pocky game? I'm thinkin of making a dare for the other guys, see if they follow through or not. I think it'd be funny."

He smiled as the other talked taking in everything he said "If I need a stack I take some chocolate" he say with a smile as he rose in an elegant manner making his way into the bedroom "Why do you seem so shocked, I did tell you everything in my home is made from the beginning, nothing is frozen, dried or tinned... cereal is dried so it stands to reason I would never have had it" he say contently as if it was sheer logic

"I have only a little money left I need to keep it in case I need supplies" he call back to Ryou "The pocky game? N-no" he stutter after hearing that he would dare people to play he knew it was likely something he wouldn't want to play either

"Hmm I suppose but it is really good and healthier than chocolate. Though both can be full of sugar. But that's what makes the good cereals...well, good." He followed suite, walking to the bedroom as he grabbed his things for a shower. "I'll be 15 minutes, tops. By the way, you still look good with your hair down too. You should try different styles when it's up too." That was the last thing Ryou said before hopping in the shower. He did in fact want to see what he'd look like with it braided, in pigtails, in a bun, and other ways to do his hair. He was curious how that'd all look. He got out 15 minutes later like he'd said, hair sticking to his cheeks, but dressed. He hated his hair when it was wet. Not bothering to blow dry it. "ready to go?"

Ryou planned on buying at least 10 boxes of pocky, perhaps some mochi and some of the imported candies. He waited for Kyoshi to finish getting ready. He brought his small shoulder-bag, carrying a notebook and his wallet inside. He'd be sure to get directions around the school before they left for town.

Blinked looking to the other when he spoke about chocolate being healthy "I don't eat it because of that, I eat it because sugar stimulates the mind and helps me concentrate" he say honestly "If I want something healthy I eat rice cakes or onigiri" he say contently moving to his desk, he had always made do with what he could get.

Hearing what he said about his looks his cheeked pinked "Th-th-thanks" he managed to get finally get out, listening to him saying he should try different styles his hand went to his silk cord and with a single light tug the hair cord dropping the hair swaying to land on his back. sitting at his desk he opened the drawer on the left and brought out a worn down jewellery box, rubbing his thumb over it he smile for a moment before opening it to see the other cords he had. Taking out another white cord he placed the box away quickly so the other couldn't see and started to braid his hair as if it was second nature to him entwining the cord through it, at the bottom tying it with the second cord just as the other cam out of the shower.

Hearing his words he turned and blinked nodding but noticed his hair "Are you sure you don't want to dry your hair?" he ask getting his application and the letter heading to the door "I am ready when you are anyway" biting lip he moved back to his bag and took out some money "Always better to be safer than sorry" he smiled walking back to the door

Ryou nodded, knowing the walk would dry his hair better anyway. He couldn't help but notice the braid. Chuckling to himself, he slipped on his shoes and headed for the hallway. :Looks nice, kinda thought it would." He mentioned for the braid. He figured they should start from the dorm and work their way to the school entrance. Then go to town and shop for goodies and bring out that application.

As they went around campus, Ryou made a little map of the routes and added little numbers for the rooms he would have to attend. He wrote a legend under so he could follow it more clearly. This only took maybe an hour at most to go through the entire school for classes and places he needed to know of.

Ryou showed him around town, stopping every now and again to point out the places his family owned. "So where are you bringing the application? There's also the mail boxes over by the candy store too." He waited for Kyoshi to choose a place, following after just so he'd not get lost. He also drew him a map out of boredom. Once he was done, Ryou took him to the candy shop. "Well here it is."

Kyoshi looked to Ryou as he complimented his hair "It's been six years since I have braided my hair like this, usually I have three or four cords in my hair" he say moving from the dorm and made his way through the school as if he had been there for years, people remarking on why there was a girl at the school "Great all I need is a dress" he whispered lowering his head letting out a sigh continuing to move on.

Out at tow he took note of the places Ryou's family owned and took not of places he would try and avoid if possible, not that he had the money to actually buy anything from these places. Slowly moving from the other he moved to the post box and slipped in the letter "Well that is the tutoring part done, I should get paid within the next few days" he say happily moving back to the other "Umm..." He pointed to a cafe that was cosplay he say moving in to hand the application in only to walk out a few moments later after having a chat with the owner back to Ryou "All set" he say wanting to see what the other wanted to do now

Ryou nodded, going into the candy store. He'd spent about an hour in there buying up junk and candy with his money. He still had so much to spend as well. "I see you went to a cosplay cafe. Is that where you handed the application? You know they make you dress different things every week. Looks like fun though. Cosplaying in general is real fun." He wouldn't admit it but he'd brought some of his cosplays to the dorm with him. He mostly only ever had accessories though. "you ever cosplay before? I mostly only own a few headsets and things like that."

Went into the candy store looking around to see if there was something he wanted, because of his limited funds he was picky about everything he spent his money on though his eyes gleemed as he seen a chocolate bar with a strawberry crisp center "They don't sell these anymore where I live" he exclaimed almost giving out a girlish squeal. Taking three of the same chocolate bar he moved to the counter to pay for them.

Hearing Ryou's question he nodded "Yes, I start a work trial on Saturday" he say with a smile "I don't mind dressing up, I done kabuki" he say with a content smile taking the bag from the store owner "I have done... twice, I made my own costumes" he say walking out of the store "My brother had them sent with my belongings... I want to be a tailor when I graduate" he would confess

Ryou watched him carefully, seeing what exactly he spent money on. Chocolate. Big surprise there. When he heard it wasn't where le lived anymore, it made him a little sad. "I know the feeling. I hate when they come out with something tasty then a month later it's off the market. And it's worse when you like the thing." He grumbled. He'd bought 5 different pocky flavours 2 packs each, some brown sugar, sesame, peanut butter mochi boxes and some maple flavoured candies. He bought the last because they looked unique and he never had them before. He popped one in his mouth. "mmm these are good."

He would definitely be back another time to get more of those Canadian Maple candies. "Those any good? I'm not much for chocolate myself though I enjoy other assorted flavours of things." He talked, mouth still carrying the maple candy as it was hard to melt it. "oh I see. Well good luck then. I may stop on by sometimes since I like going to those when I can. It's one of my excuses to go have fun sometime."

Kyoshi nodded to his words "This chocolate was available for six weeks where I live, then it vanished without a trace" he say his voice sounded sad as he spoke of the loss of his favorite chocolate "It's a horrid feeling I felt like I was going to die or something" he chuckled as he watched what the other bought, something told him with that much pocky there was going to be trouble especially wen he had earlier mentioned 'dare' and 'pocky game' in the same sentence.

Looking to him as he was asked about his own sweets he nodded "Yeah, it's not to much chocolate, it a light layer of chocolate covering a gooey cherry crisp center" he say shuddering a little as he spoke of it like heaven on earth, though on hearing the other wish him luck he came out of his dream world and grinned "Thanks" he said showing excitement "I hope to serve you then" he chuckle looking around "So you live around here?" he enquirer

Ryou shook his head. "Nah I live on the Manor that's on the hill about 5 blocks from the school. So like 12 or so from here." He thought for a moment. "You could come check it out sometime. Maybe christmas break or something unless you're going home then. Otherwise we could probably walk there sometime, just to get outside." He thought as they started walking back. It wasn't too far to walk into town from the school. Ryou was a bit glad for that, though he's used to quite a bit of walking.

Once they got back, Ryou collapsed right onto the futon in the living room area. He hadn't walked that far in quite a while so he wasn't that used to it. He'd get used to it the more he walked. "What's the menu of that cafe like?" He wondered, thinking of what foods he could try and order. He also wondered which outfits they'd make the poor boy wear. "Wonder if they might make you crossdress sometime."
