So im posting this to see how many trisphites play minecraft as i myself quite enjoy it and would love to chat about it as well as answer questions about it for those who have not played it/

I still have trouble with making a few of the items you guys always make but I'll figure things out on my own...

Also the texture packs are really cool

indeed i love my texture packs =3 id love to get a server too >.< but thats money i dont has and it be only worth it if lots of people would join >.<

True... a lot of people that were active..
Right now all of use seem so close together one the server... I'm afraid to run into someone... Since I build underground mostly...

I have no idea what Minecraft even is. Online sort of city building thing?

My boyfriend and I play a game on his xbox that is similar to minecraft and it is great~ I'll definitely try a go at playing minecraft and will tell you what I think :3

@Quiet Well mine craft is a game currently in beta you can buy for about 20 ish dollars US. Its a sandbox open world game with no real story line. The main thing you do in the game is build almost every thing in that game can be broken aka gathered and used to make houses castle anything you really can think of. The graphics no the best XD they are quite bad actually but then again this started off at as two man project that has been growing over a year or two and is about to go full release. Anywho just google minecraft and you will find the main site it has a video on it you can watch also there is YouTube ^_^

I tried a demo of that game, it was really fun. But I still think, and love terraira better, but it is something I would think about getting.

Oh i love terraira too XD but i play minecraft when i feel like building things XD though with the next update being the adventure mode update im hoping for some big improvements on the exploring and fighting in minecraft

Sounds interesting. I might give the demo a shot since I like building games but usually can't be bothered to actually go in for any plot. I just like the building and decorating part. :)

well then im sure you will like it the demo is called creative mode where you get blocks to build with. Where as the actual game you spawn and start with nothing and have to gather all the materials. Which makes what ever you build that much cooler cause you put the time into getting every thing you need for it XD

Cool. You don't have neighbours breaking into your stash and stealing crap do you? Sometimes I just like to play a friendly game where you don't have to deal with raids and thieves and what not. Get's tiring - and more than a little annoying - after a while.

yea im mean if you are on a server with just friends then you don't have to worry about theives or anything of that matter

well kinda but they are called greifers. most servers will have the ability to lock chests via mods for the game. Greifers will destroy your house / structure, But again most servers have protecting against this. As for in game monsters nothing will steal you stuff but Creepers will destroy it =/= i hate them so much XD.

A creeper is basically a green rectangular monster that will walk towards you and explode when it gets within a certain distance of you. you can kill them with swords and some skill XD

Swords are fun. :).

I guess it wouldn't be much of a game if there weren't some level of challenge in it, be it thiefers or rectangular combustable creeping things.

true but trust me creepers will be the bane of you existence for the first few hours of play XD

Minecraft is possibly one of the most addicting games I have ever played. I absolutely adore it and kind of hated that I completely forgot I had an account over the summer, so I ended up missing a lot of the updates.

Yeah, for sure! I'm such a cheater, I keep on Peaceful all the time. I like building and mining, not fighting. xD I'm a huge chicken. Even on Peaceful I'm scared to go places because I think there might be something down there or in a cave still. And oh em gee, I'm SO bad for that! I get a certain way into it, then I go "forget this" and make a new one. xD I haven't had one singleplayer game for more than probably a week/couple days..

Also, Kali, I'm not sure what you mean. There's no real "missing updates" for Minecraft. o.o When you start up again, it'll download it to the most recent, so it's not like you wouldn't be able to play the updated one~

Also, did you guys hear about Minecraft having an ending now?

RAGE!!! MINECRAFT IS AWESOME!!!

I was a massive minecraft addict, with hundreds of hours of playtime. I was a mod, then an admin on a server and everything XD It got to the point where I had to make myself quit, and now I only go on a couple of times a week.

When i do play I use the YogBox mod pack, which adds to the vanilla feel, without making it into a totally different game.

I ran into a glitch last night where I don't see any monsters at all, not even those squid things in the water.

So I built a 6 story house with wood and went diamond hunting.

That's one I've never come across myself. Sounds like peaceful mode, but squids still spawn in that.

I'll try a forced update and see if that solves it but replacing the mods will be a bit of a pain.

That's why I prefer to use a mod pack, like the YogBox. All i have to do is click install and it gives me 20+ mods with no hassle.

Only issue is a massive framerate drop with so much added to the game.

Minecraft coming to xbox = excite

I don't have an xbox, but it still seems like a cool idea to me :D


I'm currently working on a server of my own. just a small Hamachi-Bukkit thingy.. plugins are damn complicated @_@
It's running through Hamachi right now because my router wont less me log in to it and forward the correct ports to run a direct connection.. ._. And I can't for the life of me figure out how to get permissions to work, so i can have ranks and restrictions..

I wish I could run Minecraft on my PC, but it stinks :(

I want to run my own server...one day. XD No idea how to, though.

It's actually incredibly simple to get one up and running, but getting it to allow other people in, and adding plugins (if you want to) are the hard parts.

I have mnie almost perfect now, but I still can't let people in without them having to download hamachi as well D:

I'll have to read up on it before I try starting one, then. :3

Then there's also the fact that one hosted on your own PC is only going to be as good as your PC and internet.
