Whats with all the quitting sales?
 

It seems that during this past month I have seen more quitting sales then I'd like to. I mean it sucks cause the exchange is small enough and now there's more people leaving. But mainly it kinda sucks cause we are a small community here and we somewhat need all the people we can get to help trisphee eventually thrive. Anyways just wanted to mention this cause I thought it would be a good topic to hear other people's inputs on.

yea i have been worried about this as well it seems a lot of people are quitting and i hate too see people leave because of how small the site

I mean the staff does more in the community then any other site that I have been apart of and they constantly produce amazing items. Honestly I feel sorry for the people leaving because of what they are missing.

Don't worry too much about it, guys. This is pretty much the case with any site (whether new or old). Some people join a site and find out later that it is not for them (though some return later), so this is normal. While it does seem like quite a few people are leaving, there are also several people who are joining every day.

Trisphee is still growing, but it may just be too slow for certain people. Though honestly, I find nothing wrong with a site that has a slow, steady growth rather than a site that explodes and burns out too quickly. But Demo, you are quite right. They won't know what they're missing.

That is true I didn't exactly take the new members into account XP. Wish though more people posted in the exchange XP My thread is dead.

Give it until the next event. I can almost guarantee that the Exchange will revive.

Does that mean the next event is happening soon? =D

Woohoo! *fist pump* Yet another reason Trisphee is awesome- the amazing events! Even small events like the mini Spring event are really cool!

I agree about small events. I think starting this fall we should plan for seasonal events, with a couple of items here and there. They don't have to be spectacularly huge events, but small, fictional storylines between NPC's and how/what they're doing at the beginning of a new season would be nice ^^

The only problem is I need to be here when the event happens cause I always miss the event items -.- XP

I've seen some people quit because it's boring here and perfer Gaia than here because of the features, but we just new you can't expect us to be like Gaia ways of entertainment, we are changing to make it better.

As well as that Trisphee is changing and it wasn't like the way it used to be.

Well there is an event coming soon. I won't tell you exactly when it will start. But it is SOON. You will see something pertaining to the first part (I say part because this is a double event, the first part is small, the second part is big) sometime within the next week but it will tell you when it starts. Thats all the info I will give tho. I also took a look to see who all had quitting sales. I noticed that alot of those sales were people who admitted in their posts to not being around much and were just selling to get art. Though there were a few people who were active members. Either way I am sad to see them all go, especially now that we have Trisphee 'active' again. We will be updating a lot more whether it be one small thing every week or one big thing every two weeks. You will see more things happening.

Honestly I was gone during the taskal event but now this and another site are the only avatar sites I get on. Unfortunately though I haven't found anyone to chat with though XP

oh that is no good! i am working until saterday morning, i adore the events and usually run up the most posts during them^^: sad day


though i don't get why people don't either leave it or donate

If I was leaving a site for good and never coming back I would donate all my items buts thats me personally. XP And yeah its bad cause I have only one of the items from that event besides the three evo items we all got.

Yeah it is sad seeing the quitting sales, but hey they may come back later and not all hope is lost, right? Maybe things have gotten too busy in their lives or they feel a connection with another avatar site, but there will be a time where they will possibly come back and maybe stay. :) Maybe with some new events they will check in and see the fun they are missing out on. I left for a few months and came back and my interest has grown tremendously for this site. It's unlike any other and I love the uniqueness of Trisphee and all the fun items that are available. Something new is happening all the time here. xD They'll come back around the site will grow more and more as new members arrive, so don't lose hope. ^^

does demo want some of my extras? i was going to sell them for lunaes but i'd rather share^^

Dang fenris can't wait! Finally an event where I should be active well not counting the first event here.

From what I seen, people are leaving because their bored of the site. Or they are too busy in real life. And tt bothers me when people say that on a daily basis, "I don't have time for trisphee."

If they don't have time, how are they here in the first place? xDD

Well its up to the people to leave or not, the site is still growing. But one thing to point out which I might get hate on the staff (in secret of course) by saying this. No matter what you say, the staff are going to say everything is a OK, so there is no panic ect. So its up to you to spectate because everyone has something to hide, and this site sure has plenty to hide. (Especially information regarding the event. >.<)

I'll have to mildly counter your point, Illusion. I say "mildly" because although we -do- try to reassure the users, we also try to maintain an open relationship by admitting our shortcomings. The last thing we want is for people to "panic" when there truly is nothing to panic about.

And if there are things that we must keep secret, there are very good reasons for it.

it's perfectly logical to keep information about the event secret. it wouldn't be fun and exciting if you knew everything that was going to happen, now would it? we need surprises to keep people coming back.

Unlike a couple other sites I could mention, the fun just keeps on coming here! Unless Trisphee becomes a MegaCorp type of site, I seriously doubt I'll be leaving. Wacky antics aside, the member base seems a lot more mature here than anywhere else, too.

I agree, this site has a more mature attitude towards each other. It might be annoying for example, there was this user back during the opening of Trisphee, and (s)he'd use some advance vocab words. I told him/her that they were sounding rude by using those words. And (s)he just said I was stupid, and began making a scene.

You know being mature is fine, as long there isn't people too caught up with their age. People who use their age as a weapon in a debate are just losers in my opinion (not all the time, I have personal exceptions) they don't know what else to say and so just say. "WELL I'M OLDER!" Or "WELL I'M YOUNGER!" Seriously, no one cares. It's about how you are in a person rather then your age.

Maturity does not have anything to do with your intelligence I hope you know? I meant mature as in people who follow the rules, don't cause uneeded drama, ones who can form a correct sentence, and have manners. Thats what maturity is atleast to me.

I was just telling a story about someone saying they were mature because they were using advance vocab.
Unneeded story, your post just reminded me of that person so I felt like making it story time.

I am sad because of my job I'm not able to come on as much as I'd like but I do when I can. I am selling some items that I'm not going to use.

I love this place and out of the other avi sites I've been a part of, this is the best!
