Where do you read manga?
Which site? Or do you download? Buy the books maybe? Or borrow from a friend?
(I'll post my answer later on.) (ยด・ω・`) ☆ |
I download it from the-evilempire :3 but if I really like it and it's come out I really try my hardest to buy it. <3
|
Ooooh. I've never heard of that site OvO
I mostly read at Mangafox & AnimeA, but when I find someone I REALLY like, I do anything in my power to find it in book form, or download it at StopTazmo 8D |
I use mangareader.net. Love it. :3
|
I use MangaFox *nods* Because I like how I can book mark my stuff there x3 and easily see which ones have a new chapter.
Buying is...... not really possible in my country. OTL. I do have 2 volumes of Fruits Basket tho.. I paid $100 each and it was a gift to myself at Christmas >_> |
wow, expensive books duchess! are they original japanese, english translations or something else? I also use Mangareader, mangafox runs oddly on my computer. Then I usually buy all my addictions...er...books....when they make it out in print.
|
Its translations by ShoujoPop. It -shouldn't- cost so much >_>
But when you do currency conversion, shipping rates and the fact that there's practially NO market for them here, so they are rare.... you get whatever expensive price the store owner want to put on it >_> In fact.. I only know what store that sells manga and anime related stuff on the entire island @___@ |
LOL you should strike up shipping/buying pacts with people state side(assuming you get it in english) so you just have to pay regular shipping stuff.
|
Iu used to read my mangas on onemanga or mangafox, but I stopped going there because I just did. Now I just read my mangas at B&N, such as the summary of the story then I read the first chapter of the manga and if I like it I'll buy it. Then I buy continuing series I have from cons because you can't return mangas at a con

Duchess
Omg. I can't believe you had to use SO much money on a manga! O_O In my country I'll get one for 9-10$ or so << Poor you. Echo-chan Hnnn. That's smart! Do you have the patience if the manga's still being written? @___@ |
I used to buy them at a store, and have a small collection of them. xD then I stopped reading manga much lately, and now I just go to MangaFox once in a while.
The only thing I read now is Naruto whenever it's updated weekly. |
In my room?

I read manga online, too much money for my blood <3
|
I read manga online too :)
|
I used to buy a lot of my manga but every once in a while I read manga online. I use mangastream or mangareader. :3 |
I read them in my school library :p
|
Illusion: Yeeeah. I understand. But you know the feeling of having your own book....? It's amazing!
Sakura: Yaaay O u O No manga in books? ~ |
I read manga on the bus.
|
When I used to read manga, I always preferred buying them.
Now, I want to sell them. >.> |
I never buy it, I just read through it in Borders, if I DO happen to be reading some.
@ nanka - That's an awesome pic in yer sig XD Oh, Al |
mangastream.com or mangafox.com depending on what I'm in the mood for.
|
Anywhere where I won't feel unconfortable reading like in school would be unconfortable, but in my room, my friend's room, library, b&n, and such
|
I do a bit of everything, I buy manga when I can afford it or I really like a certain series, and then I read manga off of Mangafox.com, and occasionally filch manga from a friend lol
|
I read manga online (Read them online on 7manga.com), though I rarely download it anymore. I also read manga in book form as well.
|
I usually only read manga online at mangafox and some other sites. I haven't read it in book form since I was young when my friend used to have them and I would read them when I was bored.
|
Most of the time I read manga while I'm sitting in school.
It keeps me busy and doing something so I'm not bored. But I do read it in my room, or just somewhere quiet. |
I have a small collection of the manga myself.
I like to go to Barnes and Noble and sit there reading manga. |
I buy mine, I tried the online thing once I realized I needed to read more than I needed to watch it computerized - but eh. It was a big purchase but some months back now, I bought the first ten volumes of Bleach and Naruto, each. I'll have to save up to do that again, but I can only recommend something similar, because it's nice to have your own copy. Or..maybe that's my book obsession talking xD. If I like it enough, I'll want my own copy. |
I go to mangareader.net or mangafox.com... the mangas are expensive where I live, I fee terrible for reading them online and wish I could support the authors more and I did try going back to buying the mangas but I can't find some of the ones I love so I just read them online ;w;
|
I usually read things on mangafox.com!
Unless it's something I can currently purchase in the store... & I really want to own it. |
I buy manga, but I also read online sometimes. Mangafox and Mangastream.
|
I read manga either on my phone, in the bookstore, or at my house (when I can actually afford to buy the volumes). And when I say 'on my phone', I'm talking about the Android App, Mango, which allows you to browse several manga sites at once and have your manga with you wherever.
|
It used to be onemanga
but now I use mangareader and on occassion mangafox. |
I prefer to hold the manga in my hand. I adore the smell of new books so I get all high. I buy it from my local store, scurry home like a madwoman and then read it when sat somewhere comfy, usually with a cup of tea ^_^
It's nice to relax with one. I read fast the first time then I read it over and over till I know it back to front. I can't help rushing the first read though XD |
I read from either Ten Manga, Mangareader, or Manga Fox.
I test manga there and if I end up finding it worth my time and money, I buy it from the stores. |
╔═════════════════════════════════╗ (。◕‿◕。) I read manga a few times online but that was because I wanted to see what was going on in the recent Naruto series. I personally love to read the actual books themselves. I would like to read manga more often though and I might just end up reading it online since the books cost alot and reading an entire series would be a huge chunk of money that I don't have right now. ╚═════════════════════════════════╝ |
i either read manga online or get them for the library.
|
I borrow get them from a all$1 dollar book store (cheap i am <3) or online. mostly online since id be bankrupt if i bought all the one i've read XD;
