[STRUT IT] Roleplay Edition
[STRUT IT] Avatar Contest, roleplay edition.~ Good evening contestants. This is where you must come and post if you want to stay on the good side of the judges. They will frequent here and if you impress them... Then you will have higher chances of being the victor. Though, during this fashion show... You will all be staying in the same place... So, if you would like to get to know your competition then this would be the place to do it... Even though this is a competition, you should always be respectful of the other contestants. Anything said about another contestant that would be severally harmful or offensive will more than likely cause you to be the next contestant to be dropped... This is all in good fun, so please enjoy this aspect of the contest as well as the avatar making.

It was a bright sunny day as White sat outside the hotel with sunglasses on her face to block out the rays. She sighed softly as she leaned back in a chair, her legs crossed with the right one over the other. She was hosting a fashion and beauty contest type thing with one of her best friends, Airu. She was waiting for her other judge to get here as well as the contestants... But that didn't mean she couldn't enjoy the sun and the pool... She had an entire floor of the hotel booked, even though they wouldn't be needing every single room within the floor... She just wanted to make sure there wasn't too much outside interference. It was needed though, so she was just going to have to deal with it... Seeing as how the contestants were some of the more beautiful people in this city, she was sure they would get plenty of attention... Same with the judges. This was certainly going to be an interesting opportunity. |
Walking out of the hotel Airu shielded her eyes from the bright sun, which stopped her in her tracks for a few seconds. She began walking over to White once her eyes adjusted to the light and reflection of the pool. Passing a group of scattered chair she snatched one up one and slid it over just near White, facing it away from the sun. She sat in it and leaned back making it comfortable enough for the wait of all the participants.

Glancing over at her co-host, White flashes her a smile. "This is the life, right?" she asked her as she stretched a little and then settled back down in her chair. She sighed and closed her eyes again, putting her hands behind her head. "I'm sure the contestants will be here soon." She then grabbed a radio from the table on the other side of her and waved it a little. "If any of them check in, I will be informed here and they will let the people know that we are out by the pool." |
"It is, it is." Airu let out a small laugh and nodded as she pulled another chair closer with her left leg. She positioned it just right so she could lift up her legs and rest them on it. Rocking her chair slightly back and forth and the back two legs she looked over at the radio. "Well that's good. Won't have any lost and confused contestants wandering around."

"Those were my thoughts exactly," White said as she placed the radio by her hip in the chair she was resting in. She then sighed softly as she looked over at her co-host, allowing her sunglasses to slide down her nose enough for her vision to be clear. "I can't believe you could actually make it here though, Airu. I know how busy you usually are with your Mom's dog grooming business. I'm so glad you could take the time to join us here and help me host all of this." |
Airu blinked at White's comment and stopped rocker herself in the chair. "Well I get some afternoon's off early enough, and today I was able to make it." She moved her bangs out of her eyes slightly. "I'm glad I could help out with all this." Airu was eager to see all the different outfits they could conjure up.

Humming a mangled tune under her breath, Wicked straightened the straps on her wedged heel with the opposite foot. Palms making sure the bright yellow sun dress and smart cropped jacket lay in just the right way. A grab into the large purse on her shoulder produced a small zipped green makeup bag. After a quick application of lip gloss and check on her up-do, the humming stopped abruptly.
Wicked confidently stepped out of the yellow checker taxi and onto the side walk in front of the hotel. Tugging her wheeled carry-on suitcase from the seat onto the warm pavement at her feet, she dug into her purse to tip the driver with her spare hand. The taxi diver was quick to leave once he had the cash, leaving only a fine cloud of dust. Chin up, back straight, smile in place. Check, check, check. Let's go girl! Thought the woman with a glint in her eyes. Swishing the yellow skirt around her long legs, Wicked made her way through the front double doors of the grand hotel and to the receptionist. Placing her purse on the counter, Wicked grinned at the professional woman behind the counter. “Hello. My name is Perfectly Wicked. I believe you have a reservation for me?” |
A grin quickly plastered over her face at the comment. White always thought it was funny to bring up Airu's profession for some reason. Who didn't like cute little dogs that needed to be groomed though? It was a pretty stable job to say the least. Dogs would always grow hair that always needed to be cut... That was the sad truth... It was a vicious cycle. "Well, I'm glad you could make it nonetheless. I'm sure, as much as you love the dogs and everything, that you're happy to get off early when you do." She took a look at her cellphone real quick to check the time. There was still plenty of time for the contestants to get here, but things can get slightly restless. |
The receptionist looked at the young woman standing on the other side of the counter and smiled to her. "Of course. Just let me look you up in the computer really quick, hun," she said in her thick Jersey accent. She then tapped her well manicured fingers into the keyboard and found all of the information she needed. She pulled out a drawer and found the first card key on that floor. She handed it to the woman and flashed her another smile. "Your room is on the second floor. It will be room 200, actually. It's the first room you'll see, to the right. Also, I see that you're one of the people Miss White booked that floor for. She wanted to make sure you knew that she and her co-host, Miss Airu are out by the pool," she said and nodded her head. She then closed the information on the computer and smiled at the woman once more. "Be sure not to get the card near your cellphone, because it can deactivate the barcode and you won't be able to get into your room." Most of her lines were well rehearsed and everything. She then turned her attention to the walkie talkie beside of her, to inform Miss White of the first one to arrive. |
Airu sighed and leaned back in her chair as if to act tired. "It's so tiring grooming. They wiggly and worm. Big dogs are a pain. No matter how much you push against them so they don't fall out of the tub they push back and are much stronger. Though..." Airu sat up quickly putting her feet back on the ground. "It's a great workout!" She threw up a arm and flexed it with a smiled. After a few second she flopped back into her seat and laughed.

"Oh yeah. I can see how you've certainly been looking good since your grooming job," White said with a laugh. She then shook her head and looked over at Airu. She giggled out a string of laughter when her friend flexed, but then she sighed. "At least the animals aren't too hard to deal with. Be happy you don't have to walk about eight of them or something... Eight great danes." Then she heard the radio go off and she grabbed it. She listened to the receptionist and nodded her head as she heard that Wicked had arrived. The woman also said that Wicked was informed of their position, so she would probably be out there after she got settled in. That was good. "Thank you so much, Shannelle." She then leaned back into the chair. |
Wicked accepted the key, slipping it into a pocket of the jacket and away from the cell phone in her purse.
“Thank you, Miss. Would you please let Miss White and Miss Airu know that I will be out shortly? I just need to go to my room and set my bags down, than I will be right out.” With a thankful smile she slid her purse back onto her shoulder and stepped away from the counter. Wicked made her way to the elevator, pressing the button for the second floor. Humming again, only now along with the bland elevator music. Once out of the elevator she turned to the right and confirmed that, yes, she was outside room 200. The lock's light turned green when the key was inserted and the door opened easily. After setting her purse and suitcase down on one of the plush looking bed she was headed back out the door. Before the door swung closed she did a quick pat down to make sure the key was still with her. It was. The elevator had a new song playing on its way down to the lobby. Out the elevator door and waving at the receptionist in passing, Wicked made her way out to the patio. She could see two women sitting beside the pool. Wicked smiled and waved lightly, “Miss White? Miss Airu?” |
It surely didn't take Wicked very long for her to make it out to the pool, that's for sure. She didn't know if she should be flattered or if she should simply think that she was trying to suck up. She sat up in the chair and turned in the woman's direction regardless. She smiled and waved, pushing her white bangs from her eyes to get a better look at her. She was glad this woman was one of the contestants. She was certainly an impressive looking creature. She looked rather adorable in her sundress as well. Standing from her chair, White brushed her own tied off skirt down over her thighs. She was just outside in a tanktop and a tied off skirt. She had her swim suit on under it in case she felt like taking a dip in the pool. She was going to enjoy her stay for how much money she spent here. White took off her sunglasses and laid them on the table she had the rest of her things on. "Welcome, Wicked! You're the first contestant to arrive. Do you enjoy the layout of your room?" she asked with a bright and hopeful smile. |
Airu laughed more. "Well why, thank you for noticing." She brought her legs back up to rest upon the chair in front of her. "Yea.." She nodded and laid her back up to the sky. "That would be difficult." Hearing the radio go off Airu peered and eye down towards Lee. From behind Lee she noticed a shadowy figure appear. She put her head back down when her name was called. "Well welcome, Wicked." Airu stood up to great the contestant.

Nikko slid out of the car thanked the drive gave a tip then looked at the hotel before him. He let out a soft sigh, brushing his hair away from his face this would be the first time he would be doing anything like this for a contest he was scared and nervous of what may happen and how well he may fair here. But shaking all the feelings away he made his way to the entrance having his bag over his shoulder carrying his suite case with him. "Just remember to breath." he said to him self walking to the doors going in, he looked around to see it be much more lovely then it was shown in the pamphlet.
Looking about the area he made his way to the front desk fixing his coat. "Um hello, my name is Nikko Gallarado I should have a reservation here." |
Looking up from her magazine, Shannelle popped the bubble she'd form from her gum and then she smiled. "Of course, hun. I'll check the computer right now," she said and tapped in the name. She quickly found the proper key card for him and laid it on the table. She smiled at him and then closed the window on the computer. "Your room is on the second floor. It will be the first room on the left, room 202... Please remember not to put the card key next to your cellphone, because it can be deactivated. Enjoy your stay here and good luck. Miss White is out by the pool by the way. One other contestant has gotten here before you." She then turned away from the man ad grabbed the walkie talkie. She explained that another contestant was here and that he'd been informed of her whereabouts. |
********************* Tigers Den Charity! ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ The guest of the hotel are all starring at one thing. Camera's flashing and a bunch commotion means some celeb has just appeared at this 5 star (*****) hotel."OMG its Samuel!!" one of the gals in the huge crowd yells in star struck, and almost suffocated by the commotions all around.Finally the Blatantly Manly Celeb Samuel takes his first step out of the deliciously red Hummer. How wonderful he looks, you can just tell by the way his face is glowing that he is so honored to be here for the STRUT IT fashion show.He walks with dignity up to the front golden shinning doors of the hotel. Pausing so the photographers can get an awe-striking front page of the magazine photo and then sides into the hotel.Looking like a professional he walks up the front counter.He lowers his shades; "Check in for Mr. Samuel of Trisphee." He is handed keys buy the front desk worker. "Thanks Babe" and struts it to the elevator ready to get up to his Hotel room. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ INVO SALE! --&-- SELL ME YOUR RUNES! ********************* |
Grabbing the radio beside of her, White was informed that two more contestants had just come to the hotel. They were both informed of where she was at the moment and she figured they would be down soon. She thanked the receptionist and then sat down on the chair again. She sighed and replaced the sunglasses onto her face. She stretched out and took a few moments to relax before any of them came back downstairs and out to the pool. |
Mew had just arrived at the cool and interesting building the contestants would be staying at. She thought the first thing she could do was find White. This fashion show was sure to be an exciting endeavor and she was glad she could be a part of it.
She was quite nice and friendly in normal situations but while judging this show she would be completely truthful on her thoughts of what the contestants put out there. Even if she had to be blatant and harsh. After sneaking around the rather large building she found herself outside where a large pool shimmered with clear water. There was White, stretched out on a chair. Mew smiled widely and waved at her. Quickening her pace to go and sit in the chair next to her. |
Nikko bowed slight thanked the women at the desk looked around again looking for a way to the pool, before heading to the pool Nikko found a bell hop to take his things to his room then went about heading to the pool, walking out into the well lit area he placed his hand before looking about his pockets looking for the sun glasses he had placed them on. "Alright now to say hello everyone." as he walked about the pool area looking for the one called "White"

********************* Tigers Den Charity! ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ Samuel had been loving his new room. It was spacious, comfortable, and it was everything anyone could need! After relaxing for a while after all the big commotions right outside the hotel he decides to go explore the hotel a bit more. "Guess I will go to the pool first!" Quickly scattering to get his swim suit for a wonderful afternoon at the pool, he realizes it has slipped his mind that he was supposed to meet White at the pool. "Oh damn I forgot about that!!! I better get down there!" Scurrying even faster now he just makes it in the pool in time to catch white before she left. "Hey! Mrs. White, over here!" White turns quickly with a smile. "Hello, I am samuel, your 7th contestant" ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ INVO SALE! --&-- SELL ME YOUR RUNES! ********************* |
Noticing someone approaching her rather quickly, White turned her attention in that direction. She then smiled brightly and sat up some. She turned herself to face the woman that was on her way over. She'd recognize that person anywhere and it made her happy to know another judge was here and not just Airu. There was to be one more judge, but they had yet to arrive. "Hello there, Mew. I'm so glad you could make it here. It's much obliged. I'm sure you will find this to be a very pleasurable place and experience," she said with a nod and then another smile. She thought her newfound professional attitude was hilarious in some aspects. |
Noticing yet another contestant, White waved towards Samuel and flashed him a smile. "Welcome to the hotel, Samuel. I'm very pleased that you could be here," she said and then her eyes caught someone else she recognized. "Nikko! Over here!" She took her sunglasses off and waved them in the air a little to get his attention. |
As she sat down, Mew tucked her pleated gray skirt underneath her and then smoothed it on top of her thighs.
After hearing White's greeting she raised her eyebrow quirkily. "Why so formal?" she asked with a slight laugh. Then she winked at her friend as she watched a couple of what must be contestants enter the pool area. |

"Hello to all of you! White, Mew, and Niko! haha" He gives all a hand shake in showing he is so happy to meet them and is looking forward to making a friendship in the future to come. " I can't wait to become great friends with all of you! Laughing at Mew's comment, White shook her head. She patted Mew's back when she stood and then sighed softly. "When you're hosting a formal event like this... Then most things said are going to be slightly formal. Get used to it, even though it's not normal," she then said with another small laugh. She then turned back to Samuel and nodded her head. "Of course it's an honor to meet you. I'm sure we will all get along wonderfully. Just wonderfully." |
Mew chuckled into her hand before rising to greet Samuel as well.
"I look forward to what you can bring to this competition, and I hope you don't let me down," she told him with a smile as she shook his hand. |
"I'm sure no one will be a let down in this competition," White said as she placed her sunglasses on top of her head so she didn't have to keep holding them... Or potentially lose them. She figured that most of the contestants would be here soon enough, so staying out near the pool would be a good idea. Having all of the contestants together for the announcement would be grand. |
The tall man saw the women wave to him and another as he turned his gaze over to Samuel headed over to see White and all who was there at that moment. "Okay just be calm and don't do anything derpish" he thought to him self as he made his way across the pool area to wear the other was headed to meet the organizer of the contest. Once he got to the other he bowed slightly to her. "Hello Miss White."

"Hello there, Nikko. I'm so glad you could make it! You're certain to be a good contribution to this contest. I hope you find your room to be satisfactory and everything," she said with a nod to him. She then smiled in an attempt to make him feel more welcome. |
"Thank you Miss White," he said as he smiled. He was but of a shy person he hope to get to know the other make a few new friends. "I'm glad to be here and thank you for having me be one of the contestant here with the others."

As the other contestant came over to greet them Mew smiled warmly. She wondered briefly when all of the other contestants were going to show up. There were over half left that needed to arrive.
She looked down at her red stilettos as she rocked on her heels. "Good luck to the both of you," she told Samuel and Nikko as she looked back up from her feet. |
"They don't need luck, Mew. They have natural born talent," White said as she winked at them. She knew that Nikko was a bit more on the sky side, so it was going to take a little bit to get him to warm up to this entire idea. She didn't mind though because it just meant she would have to get to know him more. She liked to chat with people and this was a great time to do that.~ She elbowed Mew lightly and then laughed, in reference to her comment. |
Mew stuck her tongue out playfully at White as she was elbowed.
She should probably be more classy and professional in front of the contestants but she didn't like restraining her personality. Even so, if the contestants had any notion that she would be an easy judge to please they would be wrong. "Shall we sit while we wait for the other contestants to arrive?" she asked politely to the small group. |
"That was what I had in mind," White said as she moved back over to her chair and laid back on it. She pulled her sunglasses down over her eyes and sighed softly. It was obvious she was enjoying the pool side situation a bit too much... She was definitely going to take advantage of this. |
********************* Tigers Den Charity! ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ Samuel so thrilled about this wonderful event could not stop smiling, especially that he also has met so many friendly people already. The best part being that he hopefully will be having laughs with them from the beginning and to the end of this event. So, with a big smile on his face he says " It was so nice meeting you all on this first day of arriving to the hotel! But its time for me to go, I wanna explore this wonderful hotel a bit more... and probably get a little tan for the runway! haha. see you all later!" Samuel waves goodbye to all of the others. The tall man nodded some at the other smiled at him and waved as he looked at White and Mew. Poor guy he always felt so shy about things like this but he wanted to get over the fear. This is why he entered to know more people and be less shy. "Ummm I will see you all later then. I do hope we can talk some more again some time soon." as he walked away. "It was nice to meet you Miss Mew." smiling to the other women that was there, as he turned walked away.

Nodding as both of the contestants walked away, White waved at them and smiled. "Try not to get into too much trouble out there, you here?" she asked with another smirk. She then turned herself back into her more relaxed position and closed her eyes. She was sure she would end up drifting off at this rate of no one else showed up soon. She kept the radio close to her incase it were to happen. |
