Tarot Parlour (Freebies!)
I'll read the cards for you! Ask a question and I'll:
Cast one card for free or Cast three cards for 100 aurum. You can choose the deck you'd like me to read with, from the next post. You can ask your question in this thread and I'll reply to you in this thread with a picture of the card/s linked. But if you want to ask your question in private you can PM me and I'll reply also in PM. You can also just describe a situation and I'll pull you cards for clarity on it. And if you don't have a question you can ask for a general reading. |

If I don't have a question, can I still get a reading?

Lol. I just never know what to ask because...well, usually relationship questions tend to be most common, but I don't really want/need to know about that stuff, but I also don't want to ask about other life stuff because I feel like it can also influence the way the person interprets the cards, especially if the reader knows me or the question is fairly specific. While not having a specific question can lead to more vague answers, it also generally means they're more pure and less biased.
I would like a 1 card read please! |
Yes, a specific question means that the tarot reader interprets the card with those specific details in mind, so it's definitely a good idea to get a broad interpretation and apply that to yourself how you like. A question isn't necessary to draw a message from the cards, but if a querent really wants to frame a question despite not having one in mind, I usually suggest a question like "What do I need to know right now?" or "What do I need to be aware of/think about?" Still keeping it broad, but if they feel like they should frame a question, it's a good way to go. If they don't feel the need to frame a question, like you, that's equally great.
So for you, I pulled the Seven of Hats. You have several choices before you, a mixed array of good and bad choices. It may seem confusing because many of the choices are attractive, so you don't know which to pursue. It's also confusing because things are not what they seem. Appearances can be deceptive and a choice that appears good to you may not be the right one. The advice of this card is usually 'don't build castles in the air', since right now the outcomes of these choices are just illusions. It's also 'be careful what you wish for'. Temptation is dangerous. You shouldn't be swayed by the illusions. So how do you make your choice? By knowing what it is that you truly want. Be self-aware, be authentic to yourself. Look at what will bring you true, long-term fulfilment rather than short-term joy. Look at what will get you EXACTLY where you want to be, even if it's not the easier choice. Do you want a comfortable home? Personal growth? Success (by your own definition)? Material prosperity? Don't look at what is a 'better' thing to want according to the value judgements of others. For example, don't decide that you shouldn't want material prosperity because some say that's shallow. Screw all that, what do YOU want? What do you truly want? Be honest with yourself and don't feel guilty about it. |
Prepare for me to vaguely overshare about my life now!
That card actually makes a lot of sense because I have actually been trying to be a bit more introspective and make decisions more based on what I want than what society says I should want. (And also maybe struggling with making a big decision that could have a negative impact on my financials, but would ultimately be better for my mental health.) I've got a long way to go to really get to the core of what I want, beyond the superficial, and actually acting upon it, but it'll just take time. Mainly just until I can put things in order and make a workable plan. Also the art is really pretty. |
You didn't overshare in my opinion, but I'm happy you shared as much as you're comfortable with :f-kittysmile: and I'm also happy that the card was helpful with things you've been thinking about!

Yeah, it's encouraging to know that the cards (or a spirit/otherworldly entity/deity/(insert personal belief)) is reinforcing my plans.
Lol. I mean, I've myself kind of stuck in a vicious cycle at the moment, financially, but if I can start to get actual planning and goals figured out, hopefully I can get out of it...in the next few years. Sooner maybe. |
Hnnngh
I want that deck But money :')do you have any other decks though? |
Quote:
I have the Dreaming Way deck but the deck told me it only wants to read for me. So right now I'm only reading for others with the Wonderland deck, but I've got other decks that are on the way/yet to arrive. (And I've got several on my long term wishlist but let's not go there lol) When they do arrive and I decide to do readings with them, I'll post about them here! And update the Reserved post with them. |
Yeah, I've got Shadowscapes, Manga, Kawaii, and a fairy tales around the world one
I've also got a playing card deck themed to a game where I know the characters fairly well and Foxfire Oracle |
Is the fairy tales around the world one Tarot of the Divine?
I'm eyeing the Kawaii Tarot because I want to slowly start doing timings for supplementing my readings. I'd rather keep a separate deck just for timings that I don't get other messages from, and the Kawaii Tarot is minimalistic enough that it could work. |
I love the Shadowscapes tarot. The art is so pretty.
I have it plus the Mystical Cats tarot and Cat tarot. |
Yeah that one! I pre-ordered it and then forgot about it until it arrived ahahaha
Kawaii is pastel, and also has an app too |
@Kit yeah i've had the kawaii app for a while. what keeps me from buying the deck is the nine of wands. it was misprinted and has eight candy canes on it. the nine of wands in the app has been corrected, but the physical deck hasn't yet.
@Kaderin oooh both cat decks! i have the tarot of the pagan cats, but i haven't been able to connect with it, unfortunately. |
Oooh, the Pagan Cats deck is lovely, I want it too! And then the Celtic Dragon deck has also been in my wishlist for a while too. Though at this point, I'm almost just buying them more for their art than anything since I seldom actually use them. XP
I keep planning to get back into reading, but just never feel up to it/inspired. |
Wait whaaaaaaat?!
Ran through my deck to find it Yeah, is missing a candy cane. But it's still labeled as 9 and the way they're tumbled i can see it being easy to miss, so I'm not surprised |
Quote:
Quote:
Yeah, they don't look like too few because one candy cane is larger and takes up the space of two; and they're tumbled not lined up, so people generally aren't likely to count them. |
I maybe might have made the mistake of browsing tarot decks on etsy....>.>
Most weren't to my taste, but there were a few that I want now. Based on the prices though, I'd guess most (all but 1 or 2) that I liked are widely available/mass produced. |
Quote:
I've made the mistake of falling for out-of-print decks... DO NOT recommend. It's a hundred times worse than indie deck hell. |
Idk, indie deck hell could potentially be more problematic to me than out of print decks at this point... xD
I think 3 of the ones from Etsy are indie decks. Some are just re-sellers of mainstream decks which is kind of annoying that Etsy allows it unless the decks are genuinely vintage (which most aren't). |
Yeah, and sometimes I'm suspicious of Etsy mass market decks if they say things like, they don't come with their guidebook/pamphlet or their box. Then they're probably pirated decks. I do see legit mass market decks there too, but like you said they technically don't belong on Etsy. But sometimes it's a good way for a deck that's mass market only in one part of the world to be available more worldwide, maybe, idk.
So a deck actually arrived today, but not only did I have to pay customs for it, but customs had TORN the box in two places. Like is that why I'm paying them such high customs dues? For tearing my box? And it was a signed box too. So infuriating. Now I'm worried for the rest of my decks. I've a few more on the way. Let's hope they get here safe. |
Well I don't really have a question right now, but is it okay to get a reading, anyway? :0
|
Quote:
Awww. That really suck about that deck box! Sounds like customs is about as careful as the post office is here. I ordered some jeans and nail polish and the box had been torn open on the side and one of the polishes had fallen out. Thankfully in my case it was cheap and on clearance so I wasn't that upset. And like...I get it, mail/delivery employees are probably massively overworked and underpaid in general, but add the increased volume of online shopping due to covid, they've probably given up caring, but it's still frustrating to pay a lot just to have what you ordered arrive damaged (if it arrives at all). |
Update, I've got a new deck to read with! It's the Halloween tarot. So now you can choose between this and the Wonderland tarot for which deck you'd like me to read with :f-veryhappy:
Quote:
You can choose your deck and tell me how many cards you want me to pull. Quote:
That sucks, imagine delivering a package in that condition! I get having to deal with large volume of products but they don't have to be so rough on the items. In my case this wasn't even the outer packing but the box for the cards, so I'd understand them being rough on the outer packing but do they really have to tear the cards box open just to check the cards inside?! I'll never understand it. All they had to do was lift the tucked flap without tearing it; the box wasn't even taped shut. Sigh. |
One card from the Wonderland deck. <3
|
You got the Page of Flamingos! This is a card of alertness and preparation. You could be waiting for a sign, or you're on the lookout for something. Or you could sense the dark clouds in the background of this card (or sense anything else) and are trying to gauge what they'll bring. You're still collecting information or waiting for more information. You might be more attuned to the situation than others. Or you might be collecting information for someone else. Intuitively, though, I'd say you're looking out for yourself, but whatever will come, you're determined not to be caught unawares. You'll follow things closely, gain insight and deal just fine with whatever comes.

.u.
Is this where I can get some nice tasty carrot readings? |

I'm glad it resonated, KittyBeary~
Mers!! These are the cards cast for your question: Page of Bats: This card says you're eager to learn! You like finding things out and you like research and learning new things, and you go after the knowledge that you want; you're a seeker. You'll see that the Page in this card has his binoculars in his satchel and his swirly magic glasses, someone out to find out more than what's on the surface, more than what he already knows. Five of Bats: You can see a clown comforting a cat-costumed person in this card while a wily fellow makes off with the goodies. The bats look kind of gleeful while the moon is unimpressed and the black cat is angry. Someone might try to take credit for your work, or your work may not get the recognition it deserves, but don't let it bring you down because you'll definitely reap the benefits of the work you put in, in the end. Four of Pumpkins: The veggie-person in this card is planting pumpkins, as you can see from the little marking posts he stuck in the ground so he knows what he planted there. This card is telling you that now is the time to sow what you want for future harvests. It says you're ready to start, or maybe that you've already started! |
:D Hooray!
An excellent reading Daiko! I'm crossing my fingers that I'm already picking up some skills I didn't have last year! ^U^ And I'm also hopin' to get more attention for them, so it's good to keep in mind that someone may try to take that recognition and credit for my work. ;u; It just means I gotta create with more integrity and heart. -u- o_o Sew so that I reap...reap what I sew...hmm. *looks over at car trunk with bags worth of christmas decor and wreath-making supplies I bought in October-November for my brother's gift. Now that he's out of the house for a couple days, suddenly this is eerily fitting and accurate!* OUO; Wow! I better start on his wreath soon and hide it before he comes back home from his mini vacation! |
Wheee thank you! Also that's an adorable way to make a surprise :f-kittysmile:
|
"guidance from the cards" indeed! 8]
Opportunity really does present itself in the present sometimes! x} |
hey can I get a reading from the wonderland deck?
and my question is, am I making the right decision? (if that questions too broad) is my biological dad guiding me?. thank you have a great dayy :) |
Hi! I'm sorry for the late reply, but here's your reading!
I don't communicate with spirits that have passed on, so I went with your first question, are you making the right decision? The cards I drew for you are the Ten of Peppermills followed by the Four of Peppermills. So the decision you're taking is going to mean a huge burden on you, you'll have to shoulder very hard work or a huge amount of effort. However, this is still the right decision, because it will lead to success and rewards. After your struggle you'll have some rest from it and also rewards and comfort. You'll get the fruit of your toils, but consider once, do you need to shoulder all the burden yourself? Maybe there are people willing to help you or share the work. In short; yes, it's the right decision, but it won't be easy. Do you have people around you that can help ease the process for you? Don't be afraid to reach out. |
