well, complications =/
weather delays with all the planes. serra is now stuck in dallas cause the first flight was delayed too long and by the time she was able to get off the plane, she didn't have enough time to get to the new gate to board =_= but she got rescheduled for the morning, and we will get her and go to the truck rental place...then big lunch for her (since she hasn't eaten anything since she left home at 3 or 4pm monday =_= ) and she's gonna take a bit of a nap before we leave. |

Is it carrot cake? We were denied carrot cake in this house for almost fifteen years because my brother has a severe aversion to it, but he moved out four years ago. The rest of us super love carrot cake, especially if it has raisins baked in.

This whole event just has me remembering my days as a wee lass and having a bunch of crayons(that I think I shared with my sister o_O ) and vague memories pop into my head. xD

the cats have been really good for most of the trip. a bit whiny at the start of each day, and two times boris got overheated so much that he peed himselfbecause of stress >___< there was nothing i could do though. the last time he did it was when we were waking for the taxi to the motel for our extended stay. i got blistered burnt myself. .. :( but they both seem fine now.

Poor Boris, and poor Sephy. Also, right now downtown Edmonton has about the same visibility as LA. We've got wildfire smoke, though, instead of smog. |

Ohhh. Yes! A day before you said it said it would come! I was so wrecked that day that I pulled out the kitty and then wandered off hugging him. Then I went back and hid pieces of the contents all over so that I could deal with it a little at a time and enjoy it instead of being overwhelmed. Thanks!

Nope. Hadn't been opened. Everything was fine. Kitty and the little purple doll, a Smooshums fairy (or whatever those little guys are called), and a couple hundred Mixie Qs are currently keeping me company. Oh, and the Japanese paper dolls, and the MH dolls.
