tsukiko's world of color ~~ a challenge ~~
welcome to tsukiko's world of color ~ walking down the street, you see oddly shaped balloons and puffs of brightly colored glitter every so often. ~ curious, you quicken your pace only to come face-to-face with an excited crowd of people. ~ eager to see who or what is going on, you start hopping up and down to glace over the crowd. ~ that's when you see it. it's a new shop that's opened. ~ you LOVE supporting new small businesses and can't wait to see what this one is selling. ~ suddenly, the crowd parts like the sea and you are finally able to see the odd little fox-like shopkeeper, who has a megaphone in her hand. the crowd grows silent. ~ in a soft voice, she speaks: "welcome to the world of color. where the only limits are your imagination. please be respectful of your fellow artists and most importantly, have fun!" ~ you get even more excited by the mysterious words the owner briefly said, but then notice an elegant sign right in front of a velvet rope that was controlling the crowd. ~ on the sign it read "please in groups of 15, you shall enter. be patient ^__^ " ~ you wait nearly an hour, stomach starting to growl, contemplating leaving, but your curiosity stays you. ~ finally you are right at the velvet rope and see it mysteriously raise by itself and usher you inside the darkened entrance. ~ you see a small table, on which there are two boxes and another sign that reads "please take one and proceed" you need to make the decision of either the box on the left or the box on the right in order to go further. which do you choose? ~ you pick your box and open it and giggle with joy... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ so you want to know what was in the box? that's where all the fun begins. the way this works is you choose either the left box or the right box, which both contain a kinda lumpy bumpy rock. your task is to decorate yours how you'd like to. get creative, there's no right or wrong way to express yourself. towards the end of the event, i will be handing out your pretties, randomly, to the other people around the site, in hopes of spreading some cheer ^___^ each participant will receive 1 silver coin for their entry. you CAN submit more than one entry, but you will only get a coin for your first rock. (exception listed below) every ten pages, i will randomly throw everyone's name into a pot and draw one winner that will get an additional silver coin and a random amount of aurum. names and aurum amount will be chosen by random.org so it's all up to fate, not me picking favorites. here are your boxes: left box right box you can use any digital painting program to color/create your special or even go outside the box and print off your rock and decorate it irl and scan/upload. even more outside the box, you can go out into the world and find a real rock and decorate it and then photograph it after you release it back into the wild. Prepare yourselves for shitty rock art done on a phone! Er...nevermind. Since the rocks have no background layer, it just shows a black screen on my phone because the lines match the black of the edit screen. |

I made a cute punkin rock for Halloween years ago and used rinestones etc I can't find my photo and misplaced the rock :(

My second job was actually only giving me like 5-10 hours a week, which wasn't nad, but now a couple people are quitting and one is out on maternity leave, so I'm getting closer to 20 hours, which puts me at approx 40 hours between the two and I get no days off next week. |

yeh, idk if i'll be able to get on or not. i'd prolly be up there around 40 hours too, but i've got so many bills and now with the internet going to be about $100 a month *sighs* |

yeh, i'm not a fan of that way of doing things...or the fact that the prizes are randomly given out by the machine xD but it's different...

Yeah....I mean, I do like the coin idea (and being able to earn them from games and by hosting games), but the random item thing is kind of annoying especially since they didn't give us an item list, so it's hard to know if we get all the items or not.
