I'm lazing about, eating leftovers from yesterday's feast, and reading some yaoi manga.

We didn't cook a turkey. A friend of the family runs a barbecue place, so we bought a boneless smoked turkey breast from them. It's actually pretty dang good, which is rather surprising.

Well at least everyone was happy.

Yup, there was no drama this year! Crazy aunt and grandma went out to eat instead, so it was just me, my brother, and our parents. I even got to make deviled eggs!

Hard Boil Eggs cut in half. put yolks in a bowl, put miracle whip in bowl and mix it well.. after its all mixed put the creamy yolk in the egg white.. sprinkle paprika on it.. and eat >x<

I'm pretttyyy sure that's how my mom and Aunt make them as well.

You use miracle whip? We use Hellman's mayo, a little mustard, bacon bits, ground pepper, seasoned salt, and sometimes fancy shredded mild cheddar if we have it. We don't measure anything, though. It's all done to taste.

We didn't have any cheese yesterday. We can't buy shredded cheese anymore because my brother will eat it all and the rest of us won't get any. The last time we bought shredded cheese it was a big 5-pound bag... and it was gone within 4 days.
