hm, not really 'seeing' it in that clip. maybe it was just pulled out of Jim Henson's mind? =)
ML, there was a LOT that was pulled from Jim Henson's mind. lol
That wasn't me. o.o;
that was me, Den. it's ok.... Pilot and Rygel from Farscape came from Jim Henson's mind too, so it's all good.
my bad... >.>;; I've been having kind of an 'off' day today.
it's ok... off days happen.
lol, I just found it funny is all, don't worry Den. XD
LOL I was meaning fright haired rock star being king/queen of a strange world in that the other characters and Jareth were similar.
*hugga Den* |
ah, i gotcha, Tam. =)
Speaking of stars... My trisphee tritter is wearing a beautiful dress designed by one of my best friends. Said best friend is having a sad, so I'm trying to embarrass her into a giggle by pointing out her talent.
:P I like how the dress looks in the green you've got it in, Tam.
:D It almost makes me think of silk satin, or some high quality material with a shimmer.
lol considering the IRL inspiration that I need to finish sometime soon is made from dull satin, which has a slight shimmer to it?
LOL What, that has something to do with how this looks?
It's just amusing to me that Glinter and Galla made the dress look shimmery like the real thing.
Maybe I channeled your inner intent.
Shimmery? Dress? o.O *goes to look in shops*

That is a really pretty dress. owo *makes note to add to list*
LMBOXD. Your dress is popular, Den.
*having a spazzy gleefit. Don't mind her*
*gives Den more glees, hopefully*
*cleans dusty library* |
Dust? *goes to get a minxie*
minxie: *cut little fuzzy blue butterfly girl squees with delight and starts tidying up, offering hugs as she goes* |
Apparently, I tend to do Throwback Thursdays and Flashback Fridays a lot with this costume:
I got the idea to do a "Human Error" version of Arcee from Transformers Animated... And actually, all but the belt with pouches and the pants and t-shirt I wore under this are still in one piece. |
>.>
Is it morbid that were I to have a kid, I would share something like this with them as a form of "don't do this"? Creepy Urban Legends that turned out True |
I don't think so, tbh... Visual aides help explain things.
Funny this should come up right after I read about the lady who'd been dead for two years before they broke into her apartment to tell her that she owed them rent.
O.o
I'd have thought they'd have tried to get rent sooner than two years. But things like "garbage men won't check for you" and "don't take dares to touch electrified poles unless you want to lose your face and arm" are oddly specific Aesops. |
spooky. And now I'm watching a show called "What on Earth?"... and they're looking into an image that may or may not be a murder captured on satellite.
...I was just watching that O.O
*rolls around* I want my tax return so i can pay bills and buy a new laptop so I'm not cussing because of it not working.
our tax refund goes to paying the credit cards.

Poor green man. I have a character with only half a face, but she's just a virtual doll. He was real and had to live with all those years of being the boogyman. |
I actually would have liked to walk and listen to the guy. I understand that the "Green Man" bit largely was from when he left the local area - people closer by found him interesting for more than the scars. Problem being that some folk tried to keep getting him drunk & in trouble (Others walked with him to reduce that chance).
Random Side fact - Romantic love has the same neurochemistry as OCD and forms of dopamine-related psychosis. For some reason I find this humerus. On a positive note, it sort of shows that something classified as a mental illness can be a completely normal human thing. On the other note, I can call lovestruck folk this coming Valentine's day insane. xD |
:P we're all mad here, Lawtan. I'm mad, you're mad, Tam's certifiably bonkers *ducks*k
(That's sort of the point/fun)
*Goes off to play with the world in my head* |

LOL That IS funny! Quote:

Oh, I've wanted to try that world/game!
Reminds me of SCP-1678; Unlondon (Some of my favorite SCP's - the Witch child, Un-London, the Reptile, and the Eye-pods) |

What does SCP mean? Have you ever seen the game called 'Unravel'? It's a platformer puzzle game. |
Secure. Contain. Protect.
Essentially Men-in-Black meets Creepypasta and fictional government experimentation. Came up with Weeping Angels before Doctor Who...using a Dadaist humanoid life-size weird sculpture thing. Also has a "Monster Birthing Blood Pool", a virus that turns you into clockwork, etc. Multiple fan games were made on the material. |
