Context is that I had two graphical glitches occur when I was hosting a server for Don't Starve Together. The *entire* screen glitched, not just the game window.

Vignettes are loading screens.

Espy 09-19-2019 12:55 PM

Huh. I see.

Stabbsworth 09-19-2019 12:57 PM

basically i'm really hoping that my graphics card isn't starting to fail, though i've been told that apparently DST has some trouble fetching the loading screen graphics, but it shouldn't be interacting with the graphics card in that sort of manner.

Espy 09-19-2019 01:01 PM

Huh. Okay. Half of that went over my head, but it’s fine. I’m also half asleep.

Merskelly Metalien 09-19-2019 01:06 PM

eUe Hehehehe, I'm so sleepy, I forgot I just ate breakfast. Oops.

Stabbsworth 09-19-2019 01:16 PM

Merskelly Metalien 09-19-2019 01:18 PM

Spiders are cool though, I've gotten used to leaving them around to catch more unsavory bugs. And there's so many covering the ground outside, they sometimes hitch a ride on your feet. Just have to make sure to avoid black widows and brown recluses, for here at least.

i have a strong aversion to arachnids, they'll spook me if i lose track of them. i like them, it's just they personally scare me a bit.

Espy 09-19-2019 04:26 PM

A few days ago, I lost visual on a spider in my bathroom. It was probably an arizona recluse, cousin to the brown recluse, and just as venomous.

Stabbsworth 09-19-2019 04:38 PM

also our internet is being slightly spotty for some reason, they're probably pissing about in the exchange.

I saw several black widows when I lived in California.

One had taken up residence at my usual bus stop. I made sure to show her all of the respect due her status.

On the other hand, one had taken up residence in my backyard. She got evicted.

The spiders around where I live now are huge. I saw one with an abdomen the size of a nickel. @.@
