o.o Wow, well, that sucks. I bet you end up using a lot of moisturizer.

Echo-chan713 09-04-2012 09:55 PM

moisturizer feels weird, but I use deodorant everyday

Helsinki Harlot 09-04-2012 10:07 PM

On your entire skin? o.o

Echo-chan713 09-04-2012 10:38 PM

no just my under arms, I take showers on Monday, wednesday, friday; then sunday, tuesday, thursday, saturday; and the pattern continues

Helsinki Harlot 09-04-2012 10:40 PM

That make sense. :] I used to take a shower every other day because my hair was retarded. I've trained it to produce less oil now so I can wash it every day and it not freak out about loosing too much and over-producing to compensate.

Echo-chan713 09-04-2012 10:42 PM

so it's not like I take showers once a week

Sunako 09-04-2012 10:49 PM

Hey everyone, how are you?

Hmm, I take showers every day, but that's only when I'm at my boyfriend's house but at my mums place, I take one every other day.

whitexsuicide 09-04-2012 11:20 PM

I take them as i need them taking them at least once every other day.

Batty 09-04-2012 11:48 PM

<.<;; I take one EVERY day.

Funkduder 09-04-2012 11:53 PM

Hey, batty

Batty 09-04-2012 11:56 PM

Hey Funky, how goes it?

whitexsuicide 09-05-2012 12:04 AM

I don't have the money to take one EVERY day....

Alpha 09-05-2012 12:10 AM

Same here Batty, I take one every day.

Batty 09-05-2012 12:11 AM

YAY ALPHA!

If I could, I'd take like, four.
Theres just something about a nice hot shower...

Alpha 09-05-2012 12:12 AM

That there is. I've tried taking three to four showers a day, and I can't do it.....even if I have reason to I can't, skin just gets too dry.

whitexsuicide 09-05-2012 12:12 AM

I do like them I just can't afford the shampoo and conditioner and body wash...

Hey guys. I fell asleep for a blissful 3 hours. Then woke up. This sucks. I want to go back to bed. I almost slept for a full night like normal people are supposed to.

*plugs funk into the Matrix*

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 08:49 AM

Six days of work out done. Would be 7 if I hadn't taken that break on Sunday. Everything huuuurts. I really need to find something else to do for cardio. My legs can't handle that type of shit. I can already feel my bones protesting the impact level and the muscle pull in the middle.

Alpha 09-05-2012 10:17 AM

Hmmm......well, could always try rowing style exercises. Also, half-jacks aren't bad for it either.

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 10:43 AM

What are half-jacks?
And "rowing style" has been suggested to me before but I also have no idea what the hell movement that is.

Belial 09-05-2012 10:48 AM

I have to take showers every other day as well, my family is almost insane with the "We must reduce our carbon footprint" green trend.

mine wasn't the carbon foot print thing it was when I lived in New York even though I lived on an island water is expensive. Every month water is about $250 with showers every other day.

I'm in Colorado which is dryer and more of a desert and it's cheaper here and people take showers everyday, and says it's better for you when you take showers everyday. I don't understand it.

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 10:58 AM

We have really heavy sprinkler restrictions? I dunno.
I don't really have much to contribute to this conversation anymore.

Echo-chan713 09-05-2012 11:00 AM

colorado sprinklers goes off 3-4 times a day even its raining

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 11:04 AM

o.o Really. Maybe it's not as bad up there with drought issues. We're not allowed to have sprinkles on unless it's dark.

Alpha 09-05-2012 11:07 AM

Hel: Half jacks are half a jumping jack where you only bring your arms to where they are parallel to the ground instead of over your head. As for the "rowing style" exercises, my best reccomendation would be to google It. Can't think of any that dont involve a machine off the top of my head, though I know they exist.

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 11:13 AM

I'm not allowed to use my legs is the thing. My Achilles muscle is only half formed in both legs. My muscles also grow attached to my bone instead of on top of it. My leg bones don't sit in the right place on top of my ankles so I walk on the side of my foot to where some days the knob of my ankle touches the ground if I've strained myself too much. I have an orthopedic specialist and special soles I have to wear. My bones are also coming apart in my feet and they're completely flat. So I need cardio that does not use the legs at all.

I'm insanely socially anxious so I have trouble working out in public too. ._. I need something to do at home.

Alpha 09-05-2012 11:17 AM

Hmm......give me a while to rack my brain and I'll see what I can come up with. Cardio is one of those workouts where there are a dozen different ways to do it, but only a few where you don't have to use your legs at all or in a strenuous manner.

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 11:20 AM

Haha, yeah. I've spent 22 years trying to figure out something safe for me to do. Last time I said fuck it and just did it like regular people I had to be on pills for half a year to get my leg muscles back to normal from a complete deterioration. :] So I WANT really really really bad to loose weight and work out but cardio is such a huge part of it. I can't figure out a damn thing I could possibly do.

I can't do the treadmill because it's heavy impact, sometimes I can do the bike thing (but I don't have one and I live at home with no gym nearby) and it's heavy impact on my knees (which aren't matched either). Weights and shit are no problem, I've been solid with those. I just can't do the cardio stuff. D:

Fauxreal 09-05-2012 11:28 AM

*saunters in* Anybody order a pizza?

Echo-chan713 09-05-2012 11:29 AM

with extra cheese yes :3

Fauxreal 09-05-2012 11:33 AM

Oh man - I ordered a works. *makes another phone call*

Alpha 09-05-2012 11:35 AM

Hel: From what I've found the general consensus is to to seated cardio (Example:http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/...l.asp?video=38) or swimming. Those two seem to be the best workouts in cases where you don't have access to a gym.

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 11:40 AM

Alpha; Thanks for taking the time to search stuff for me. I guess I could do swimming as long as my parents aren't home. It's about to be fall in Texas tho' so there's that. o.o

I'll give that video a shot tho'. :) Thanks.

PIZZA? CHEEESE!?!? Must you tempt me? D: <333

Fauxreal 09-05-2012 11:42 AM

What is with all the cheese lovers?! We are going to need a bigger pizza...

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 11:45 AM

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese. :D

Echo-chan713 09-05-2012 11:45 AM

get the Sicilian style pizza it's HUGE

Helsinki Harlot 09-05-2012 11:57 AM

You know what pizza I want?

We went to NYC to the Finnish Embassy to get our passports renewed and walked around all touristy and foreign like. Ended up going to this... fancy ass fucking place. Like, suit and tie. But we were ALL red in the face, tired, exhausted. They asked us if we had a reservation, we said no. God my parents looked so humiliated. But I said fuck that. Said no. And asked if there was any place nearby. So they just looked around at each other and decided 'f that' there's a table open right now. You guys have it. The BEST Pizza I have EVER had. It was towards the Broadway area too where all the main buildings are. Oh my god it was heavenly. Just the right amount of sauce, not thick or chunky or heavy. Just sweet light tomato with a delicious soft base, crunchy crust and the best cheese with basil on top of it.

Ooooooh. Or or , my favorite Pizza in the world. The Margherita from Koti Pizza. Mmmmmmm.
