I haven't had pho, I'd love to try it sometime. Haven't tried to look for it though XD

And I love being weird XD

Tam I am 04-13-2019 08:01 PM

Though... *points to my avatar* She manages to be weirder than me. But she "lives" in a world where she can get away with it.

Serra Britt 04-13-2019 08:20 PM

May I live in Trisphee land where I can get away with weird stuff too? XD

https://www.deviantart.com/serrabrit...-art-793654373

Something that I have been working on a while. Drew it for a contest and I honestly hope I'll win a prize for it XD

daikokunyo 04-14-2019 02:33 AM

yes, we are Trisphites who believe in weirdness as a subversive power of social transformation :s-awesome: our ultimate dream is for the freedom, acceptance, mutual kindness and celebration of weirdness in Trisphee to tranpose into the real world as well.

Serra, that's a wonderful piece of art. the angle of it, from up, is one that i personally think is quite difficult to pull off, and you've done it perfectly. i like the colours, too. good luck!

Tam, heads up that i posted in your shop thread :s-angel:

Serra Britt 04-14-2019 01:15 PM

Thanks for the praise Sternum, I really appreciate it ^_^

Espy 04-14-2019 01:43 PM

Holy heck, your art’s improved a lot.

Tam I am 04-14-2019 08:33 PM

Well, I run around in public with dolls in my hands, and wear foot gloves and long skirts. Oh, and a buzzcut. And I'm a Jesus geek and don't hide it.

I'm GETTING there with the weird. Sometimes I still feel embarrassed when I babble though.

KittyBeary 04-15-2019 03:21 AM

Ooh, nice art, Serra! :3

so you speak out loud to yourself? so do i, and make expressions and change my gait too.

yeah, i want to get a 'boy cut' not even a buzzcut but my family thinks that's extreme >.> i'll have to do it when they're not there. there's a lot of girls in college with buzzcuts but i get not being in a place where buzzcuts are common, that's where my family lives, in my case.

i'm gonna get a tattoo, and that's another thing that's common here but not at home. maybe it's not a good idea to do all these things a month before i go home. but hey, nothing wrong with weird anyway. can't judge something as wrong just for being different from what you're used to. i will GET there. :p-nod:

Serra Britt 04-15-2019 11:18 AM

Thanks Espy, I try ^_^

Thanks KittyBeary!

Sorry to hear you have to deal with that Sternum >_> It's just hair, it's not like it can't grow back -_-;

Keep it up though, I really think people should do what feels right to themselves as long as it doesn't impact others.

Yup, I talk to myself. And I've been caught dancing in shops to the music, or about finding a DvD I want to buy.

LOL They're getting more common here now, but I've been wearing them whenever I could get away with it since I was sixteen. I'm in my mid forties now.

I decided not to get the tatt. My skin would probably just shed all the colour anyway.

daikokunyo 04-16-2019 11:16 AM

i dance too to random music, or more like shuffle to the beat!

great! i intend to get away with it too. i'm determined -w-

don't answer if you'd rather not share, but how would your skin shed the colour?

Tam I am 04-16-2019 06:17 PM

The same way it sheds permanent marker and crazy glue. I SHED. I don't have dandruff, but I leave white dust. I also corrode any metal but silver away very quickly if I wear it.

Espy 04-16-2019 10:21 PM

That... is interesting.

tsukiko 04-17-2019 09:29 AM

*runs in and boops everyone willing to be booped before rushing off to get ready for work*

I agree.
Do you know how it happens, Tam? Like, how your skin does it?

Tam I am 04-17-2019 08:52 PM

**rubs my nose and laughs**

Sternum, I'm guessing it's just the shedding. I've got Keratosis pilaris and some eczema in some places, so maybe I just make a little bit too much skin. Not enough for it to be anything bad, but yeah. I'm not sticky.

daikokunyo 04-18-2019 11:48 AM

i see!
i'm sorry, that was a dumb question >.<

Tam I am 04-18-2019 10:11 PM

No it wasn't! It was a perfectly valid question.

Den 04-19-2019 10:03 PM

today, Poppen Atelier customized an LOL doll, and it ended up looking really cute

Tam I am 04-20-2019 07:34 PM

Our avatars are kind of following a similar theme. Cute.

Den 04-21-2019 12:23 AM

@Tam: Aoife-dolly says "Mom got rid of all the glitter on my face, and says that I deserve a cute faceup because my sculpt has a lot of potential for cuteness. I still don't have a body yet, though."

I had fun today, even though the paint brushes I got at walmart sucked hardcore for painting. I managed to score a set for half-price at Hobby Lobby on my way home, which gave me more than enough brushes in the size range I prefer (3 all the way down to 10/0, though I'll also keep an eye out for 00 and smaller brushes).

Espy 04-21-2019 05:30 AM

I’ve considered getting into BJD, but oh boy is it difficult to find a doll and face-up artist that fits my aesthetic.

Awwww. Yes, Aoife, you do have an adorable face, and lovely hair. That's why you went to your mom instead of the give away table.

I'm glad you were able to find good brushes, Den. The blah ones might come in handy for something someday. Like painting repairs on a wall or something.

Oh, Aoife's not a BJD. She's just a playline doll with eyes that change.

Den 04-24-2019 09:37 PM

hit up walmart after getting dad more deathsticks (mom and I were SO hoping that he'd quit, but apparently it's not gonna happen at this time), and got myself a Hairdorables and an LOL Hair Goals. the LOL doll had stiff, awful hair product in her hair... so I've gotten rid of her hair and am gonna reroot her with yarn, once I get some yarn in a nice coppery shade (She was a little carrot top, and I'm gonna keep that aspect of her, just gotta repaint her face because the paint on one eye started coming off after I checked to see what her water trick is (She's a spitter and a color changer)). I'm gonna hybridize the Hairdorables with one of my EAH bodies, and do a total repaint and reroot on her.

Tam I am 04-24-2019 10:48 PM

Oh fun. Yeah, the Hair Goals have a lot of product in. I got one, but she never came home with me. Haven't seen Hairdorables around here yet, but they look cute on the bigger bodies. Which one did you get? Are you putting the EAH head on the Hairdorables body?

Den 04-25-2019 11:09 PM

I changed my mind on the body. Gonna put Noah's head on a Monster High body. I don't have the head that went with that particular body, because it got misplaced and I haven't been able to find it since. gonna try painting Noah's head to match the body.

Tam I am 04-26-2019 12:40 AM

Ahhhh. Like the shape better?

Do you have that baytech Bumblebee I sent you a few years ago?

Den 04-26-2019 07:17 PM

Yeah. and I do still have 'Bee.

Tam I am 04-27-2019 11:24 AM

How hard is that 'Bee to transform, and how good are you at transforming bots?

Den 04-27-2019 07:01 PM

Not terribly hard, and it depends on if I have the instructions or if the transformation sequence is fairly obvious.

Tam I am 04-28-2019 12:24 AM

Ahhh. Well, I can't transform this one even WITH the instructions, which I've got. Was going to suggest a Bee trade, but maybe I should just send her your way, since I can't do anything with her.

Den 04-30-2019 08:50 PM

I've got bots that I don't have the transformation instructions for, but the way to transform them was pretty apparent after a bit of fiddling with them...

Tam I am 04-30-2019 10:09 PM

Same here. But this one's not one of them.

Den 05-02-2019 07:46 PM
