Kali was a band kid...so IDK! |

ari - 120lbs would make me feel under weight.. i wanna be 140-150lbs my ulti goal. unless 120lbs is a normal weight for someone thats 5'2" |
Yeah, but the fact that if it's a low calorie and low fat candy, then you can treat yourself with something a little more 'bad' for you...
Like my nutritionist gave mommy props for treating herself to a small piece of chocolate each day and a small piece of cake each week. |
I dunno if its low calory or not. xD
Lols. Just googled it...It's not exactly low calorie...but it is Fat Free which is awesome!!!

Really? 120lbs is a pretty good weight range for an adult female...I'm gonna go check a BMI chart. :3 I'll be back with it to see what a good weight range for an adult female is. :3 EDIT: Here you go. Pretty standard to read. Just find your height and your weight to see where you stack, then check where you should be and figure out if you're in the right spot, underweight, overweight, or obese. :3 http://img.webmd.boots.com/dtmcms/li...i_imperial.png |
a good weight is done by height. My aunts ideal weight is about 110lbs and shes like WAY shorter then me.. like 4'6" xD my mom is 4'8" she wants to get to 120'lbs
I shall say this. I refuse to accept the BMI chart...It doesn't take into account bone structure.
I'm 4'11" and it says I should be roughly 117...I weigh roughly 150 or so... My dad's side of the family are all technically 'overweight' so I have no hope of getting as low as 117 without some sort of surgery. I like to go by pants size...I used to be an almost 20 and lost down to a 12 in less than 1 year. I am now officially in the 'average' range for lady's pants sizes... |
See if this helps, Kali: http://www.webmd.boots.com/diet/calc-bmi-plus
My aunt has to shop in the kids section x'D seriously.
when i was 15 i was 150 (i haven't grown since then ;o;) my doc said that it was a good weight range for someone of 5'2" |
Not really. It still doesn't take into account family history factors. (and it still says I'm Obese)
*sits in thread*
i dunno my waist size and i am NOT getting my measuring tap to find out D<
family things like thyroid problems and other things add to the weight ono mom has thyroid problems |
Yeah. I just hate having to go by BMI because it really hasn't been updated in years, and it doesn't take family history into account. So it's more just putting down women around the globe...
... *turns away*
Someone can't handle the lady chat?
No... just don't want to hear about weight... bc u should be happy no matter how thin or large you are.
Tell that to the people who created the BMI chart and those who feel 'models' for 'average' person should be twigs...
Yeah... they were stupid...
And yet, that's what 'beauty' is today. That's what is has been shaped by, and that is how women are to be perceived. They are overweight or obese unless they are pretty much twigs.
Pfff I like any one... I don't care about body type

I WANNA KICK THAT DOCTOR'S BUTT BECAUSE THEY HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! D:< |
O.O At 15 I was almost 200 and my doctor was telling me the normal weight for someone at 5'2 (which was/is my height) was between around 120-130ish.
I'm still over 150 |
I was around 110-120lb growing up (normal) thanks to the meds I was taking to help me focus, but since I started taking them my love of food had me eating more and I think I'm around 140lb right now. Not too sure, but I gotta weigh myself to see where I'm at right now... XP
5'10" 148... yeah... not much... and don't care
Last I checked I went down to 170 something. I've always had a weight problem since I was a teenager :(
Actually, that sounds pretty good for a guy your height hyjin. :3 And that's regardless if any excess weight is fat or muscle. :3
I'm hungry.
Eat something faux? :p
I'm tired. x.x
Yeah, the BMI is out of date, that's been acknowledged. You can use it as a sort of guide, but it doesn't take into account placement of fat, which affects health (more fat around the abdomen is worse for health than other places, like thighs for instance, especially for men since that's where it tends to collect anyway) and doesn't account for differences in bone, muscle, and fat. People who have quite a bit of muscle will weigh more because muscle weighs more than fat does.
I am precisely 5'2, and weight 110 pounds, and have been chronically underweight most of my life (no skinny jokes please, it's not as "lucky" as most people think). My sister is actually a little shorter andis over 120, but she looks good and I certainly wouldn't say she is in any way overweight. Some people say that bone doesn't make that much of a difference but I'm not sure about that since I can compare myself to my mother or stepsister who both have large frames and I'm a twig with fine bones and I doubt that it makes for an insignificant difference. Alright, enough of that. :) Need food too. I'm still piecing together my old Lego sets to weed out missing pieces. I like my Lego still. It's therapeutic in a way to sit there and put the little bits together. I used to do models but never had to patients to sit and paint each little piece and then wait for it to dry. I always got lazy somewhere. |
