Woohoo! Maybe greyhounds make people better.

Biomecha 10-09-2020 02:30 PM

Yes, or dogs in general.

Proof:

mdom 10-11-2020 12:07 AM

I don't mind being in theoretical hell, but why is it always shown as hot!!! Pls give me icy hell and I won't mind sharing it cats

Biomecha 10-11-2020 08:55 PM

If the point is to find ways that torture you, I'm not sure having it being cooler would be much help.

mdom 10-11-2020 09:13 PM

I'm sure they don't want to hear me complaining forever! And I can complain about the heat all day

Biomecha 10-11-2020 11:06 PM

Maybe they'll appreciate it and promote you to torture others.

mdom 10-16-2020 12:53 PM

I don't want to torture people D:
kill maybe

Biomecha 10-16-2020 04:12 PM

There's plenty of time for that in our world.

Speaking of which, did you hear Dexter is making a short comeback? Or possibly, at least.

mdom 10-17-2020 08:21 PM

yeah it's what i've been doing for the past months |D

I saw that!I wonder where else there is to tell, unless they want to retcon a few seasons |D

Biomecha 10-23-2020 05:33 PM

It looks like one of the original writers is back, which seems promising. I doubt anyone would have rewatched the last season, so maybe enough people will have forgotten what happened and there won't be any continuity issues.

mdom 10-25-2020 12:20 PM

The kids must be all grown by now, so they can help kill like in the books

Biomecha 10-27-2020 11:22 PM

I have only read the first couple, but involving the kids when they're grown does seem to have potential for fresh storyline. Especially with social media as part of the hassle.

Event started in Pantheon.

mdom 10-29-2020 02:35 AM

Thank you for telling me!!!
There's an event at windlyn too.
Kinda glad there isn't one here...

Biomecha 11-11-2020 05:58 PM

Yeah, it feels like there's too much going on lately. I mean...more so than usual.

mdom 11-18-2020 10:51 AM

Voltra's halloween event was alice in the wonderland themed for some reason

ugh, how are we so close to christmas

Biomecha 11-19-2020 11:50 PM

Maybe because it has potions and spooky weirdness?

I'm ready for Christmas. I've been doing yard work trying to make our place look less embarrassing and to prepare for the next stage of Christmas decorating.

mdom 12-13-2020 12:07 PM

Do you have your tree up?
been a couple years since we last done that...

Biomecha 12-13-2020 06:43 PM

I don't have indoor decorations but maybe next time. Here's a portion of the outdoor though to give an idea, it's the garage. The front of the house has more lights and jumbo ornaments.

mdom 12-25-2020 07:29 PM

I love lights... so much... but we never put them up because it usually rain season

Biomecha 12-26-2020 11:38 PM

It's been raining every other day here but the lights do okay. I'd like to come up with something more interesting for next year, not as cliche or traditional.

mdom 12-27-2020 10:56 AM

Make your lights say 'singularity is near'
you'd need tons of lights tho

Biomecha 12-27-2020 10:31 PM

It would probably only be confusing. I need to learn how to build things to make something.

mdom 01-08-2021 02:38 AM

I believe in you! Bio the builder

Biomecha 01-13-2021 03:03 PM

I doubt it would go beyond watching how-tos on youtube. The hard part would be getting something hand made to not look hand made.

mdom 01-14-2021 10:47 PM

What matters is having fun while building it!

Biomecha 01-15-2021 12:00 AM

The building part seems more stressful. It's why I can't get into cooking or baking as much as I want to experiment with ingredients and recipes.

mdom 01-16-2021 07:09 PM

aw D:

I don't want to cook or bake bc it takes forever and it vanishes so fast...

Biomecha 01-16-2021 11:29 PM

I think it has to do with too many steps to manage at one time. I have to be able to break things down into easier to manage portions to avoid getting overwhelmed, and food tends to be time sensitive and not as possible to do that.

But in another news, my father lost his job. So that happened. Yay 2021 so far.

mdom 01-18-2021 03:37 PM

oh yeah, sometimes you need to do more than one thing at once and it's too much @_@

Oh nooo D: I'm so sorry, Bio. Hope he bounces back quickly.

Biomecha 01-19-2021 12:39 AM

Yeah, that's how I've finally managed to develop more disciplined habits by breaking everything down into more manageable chunks and spreading it out through the day. And the more tedious things I do some sort of multi-tasking with that makes it more entertaining, to help prevent dread.

Despite being highly qualified, his age tends to be a factor it seems.

mdom 01-19-2021 09:14 PM

there are no words to describe how much I hate capitalism >:(

let biodad work!!

Biomecha 01-21-2021 03:46 PM

Hopefully the work from home situation might make things different. I wonder how much that will change things overall.

mdom 01-23-2021 12:20 AM

Yeah, hope that becomes an option even after vaccines happen

Biomecha 01-23-2021 09:21 PM

Especially with areas that have rush hour. But then it's not like it's made that huge of a dent, currently.

mdom 01-25-2021 02:51 PM

that's sad D:

Someone posted this and it reminded me of you:
https://i.imgur.com/QawXM9U.jpg

It’s created with lab made milk. Fungi with cow DNA fed corn syrup in a vat producing lactose-free cream.

Biomecha 01-25-2021 04:24 PM

That's actually pretty cool. I didn't realize there was already lab based milk. I wonder how the flavor compares to regular milk.

mdom 01-26-2021 11:59 AM

As long as it's better than soy milk... I love flavored soy milk, but I can't take pure

Biomecha 01-26-2021 01:55 PM

It's been forever since I've had soy milk. My favorite is almond milk, but I have it as is or for adding to food things. And coconut milk, but it's more calorie dense.

mdom 01-29-2021 09:14 PM

that's why coconut milk is good xD

Biomecha 01-31-2021 11:54 PM

Coconut butter/manna is what dreams are made of. But here it's expensive.
